That's awesome. Please excuse my ignorance, but exactly what is the "A-price plan"?
Also does anyone know the lease rates for April for the XC90? Particularly interested in 36 mos with 10k or 12k miles. Thanks!

"a-plan" is the price to people who work for the Ford Motor Co.
Typically,it is invoice minus any applicable incentives.

Lease offer - can I do better? by crestonave

I just received the following offer on a 2009 XC90 AWD:

The XC90 has Metallic Silver Paint, AWD, Premium, Climate, Versatility, SIRIUS Radio, and Blind Spot Information System. For 3 years at 12,000 miles the payment is $609. Money Factor is .00241 and Residual 17862. New York taxes and tags due at signing with 1st payment. I based all of this on assuming you have excellent credit

MSRP is 45345.

I think I can do better. What do you think?

Does anyone know the money factors and residuals for April? Thanks!

Just got a quote on a 09 XC 90 AWD V8 R

36 Months - will not due shorter
120000 miles - will not due less miles
Residual - 35%
Money Factor - 0.00257 (6.2%)

With the "X" plan the monthly came to $972

This is with $9200 worth of incentives. My current lease is on a 07 AWD V8 Sport with monthly of $547 and $578 with taxes - nothing down except first month - 24 month lease and 10500 miles per year. Just proves that the bottom has fallen out of the SUV lease market. My buyout of the lease is $37K but the car is on worth $25K on the market - Volvo just lost $12K.

Hi, wondering what is the MSRP of the 09 V8 R? I am also in a 24 month lease program of a 07 V8 sport.and I am paying $600 per month and it is ending in June 09. I am also considering either 09 V8 R or 08 V8 sport if I can still find one available.

Jkloss:

Do you really mean $972 a month? They will not do a lease for 24 months or for less than 12k a year?

They were just advertising $499 a month for the 3.2.

That's insanity.

The list of the car was about $53K and that was with the new pricing.
This was with $0 down on a V8 AWD R. - they may due less months but with a residual of 35% on 36 months and a MF well over 6% - you are right at $970+

That's absolute insanity. You could probably get close to two of a lot of comparable cars for that payment.

Oh yeah - may three or small fords. But on the last two years we beat the market or shall we say Volvo lost on the suv. Car is worth about $22-23K on trade and the residual is $38K. If you purshased the car on a 60 loan you spent with payments and down payment approx. $29k over 24 months and you still owe $27K for a car that is worth 24K max. At that time the 2007 lease made sense but we probably did not know that at that time.

Hi nikjreece. $8,500 below dealer invoice and the use of a .00240 money factor to calculate your XC90's payment is indeed a very good deal for this model right now. Of course, one can debate whether this vehicle is worth $650 per month (in my opinion it's not) but this is probably about as good as it is going to get for this lease.
