Wow, you do a lot of driving shawn757. Volvo Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2008 Volvo S80 T6 with 19,500 miles per year are .00165 and 67%, respectively. When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $1,000 lease cash that is currently available on it.

#57 of 294 X Plan vs A Plan Price by valmac

Dec 27, 2007 (7:11 pm)

I am currently negotiating with 2 dealers on the price of a new S80 (to ultimately lease). I am eligible for the X Plan price as well as all associated promotions / incentives. However, both dealers are pushing me to the A Plan price (which is lower).

My question is why would they do that? Are they not obligated to give me all available incentives under the A Plan where they are if I ask under the X Plan? What is the catch? Can anyone advise? Thanks!

Hey Car Man:

I also posted this in the S60 forum, as I have questions on both models. I spoke to my Volvo sales consultant yesterday and he mentioned that Volvo just announced aggressive lease programs on S60s and S80s. I am considering both models, so I would be curious if you knew the current MF and residual for both (24 mo and/or 36 mo; 12K per year). I was in the car, so I couldn't write down the numbers but I think he said there is $6500-$7000 lease support on the S60 and S80. We are coming off lease in February (V70), and I don't know if any loyalty cash is out there as well. I just would like to be prepared before I go in to see him next weekend. Any info would be great.

Thanks.

Hey sparty, have you gone back to your sales guy? What did he say? I believe this might be an alternative lease program. Do you know how much support there is, and what the best bank is?

#61 of 294 Volvo S80 2008 Money Factor & Residual for January by mrdrifty

Jan 14, 2008 (11:17 am)

Hi Carman,

Requesting current money factor and residual for 36 month lease on the 2008 S80 & the S80T6 for 15K miles a year.

Also, Volvo is providing $3250 cash to dealer on the S80 through Feb. In your opinion, how much of this $3250 could I apply to a cap cost reduction?

Thank you very much and look forward to your response.

#63 of 294 2008 S80 Lease... $1135 a month??!!! by flufjet

Stopped by a nearby dealer today to inquire about leasing a 2008 S80 with AWD, 24 month, 12K per year, zero cap reduction, (note: we have excellent credit).

The dealer just emailed us the following outrageous quote:

"2008 Volvo S80 with all wheel drive and T6 engine leased through Volvo leasing:

Price: $44.455.00 + Title and License Fees
     Discount: $0
     Term: 24 months/12,000 miles annually
     Down Payment: $2,900
     Residual 61%
     Money Factor: 0.00522
Monthly Payment $1,125-1,135.00 + Tax On Approved Credit"

Comments anyone?

Thanks!

Wayyy too much money for a S80. Nice car but you are talking 1100 for a 45k car! You can get a BMW 550i(70k car) for about that much/month.

This is in USD right?

Residual 61% ?

Damn, that is quite a change from last time.
 $1,135 a month is ridiculous.
