Replying to: kellih (May 08, 2009 2:03 pm) Here's my quote on a Wolfsburg Jetta, MSRP of $23574 $22777 invoice $22000 price after incentive $1250 drive off (1st month pymt, dmv, lic/fee) .00139 MF 55% residual $327 per month, 36 month lease inc tax at 9.25% In my opinion, the Wolfsburg Jetta with the 2.0T and DSG is one of the best packages for the money right now. However, it seems like I can do better on the lease? Maybe more than $750 below invoice? There aren't many of these out there and compared to $200 lease for a Jetta S, the Wolfsburg Jetta is a far better driver's car. Thoughts on this lease payment, model, etc are appreciated.

Which is crazy. The SE should be like the Jetta and come with the leatherette. S model come with cloth only. The SEL come with real leather. I have also though about the Passat, I like a bigger car. The wolfsburg is top choice. |

Can someone tell me if I am getting a good deal? Also, would it be wiser to sign for 12k per year (36 months) instead of 10K per year. Would it be feasible if I want to keep my monthly payments at no more than 275? So far I was offered.. 35 payments X 309/mo w/ 10k miles/yr with just first payment out of pocket (all inclusive of all taxes and fees) 35 x289 w/ $1000 out of pocket 35x 259 w/$2,000 out of pocket 35x229 w/ $3,000 out of pocket I just want the standard SE features (with beige leather interior). And this quote is for a model with 17 alloy wheels, bluetooth and a "monster mats" and "trunk liner kit". What should I counter with if I just want the standard SE features? Thank in advance for the advice!

Does anyone know where you can find stats on the number of TDIs sold in the US since the tax credit went into effect? Wondering where things are re: 60,000 mark. Thanks, KH
