Is it possible to for someone to take over my current 08 G6 lease, so that I am may get into a VW lease? Do you think I really stand a chance? The dealer tried getting me someone to take over last year, but I am wondering if you think if I tried asking them again, they might do it, just to gain my business again. Also, since GM is no longer leasing, one might think my lease is attractive over buying. They only have 2yrs left. Transfer fee $595, and heck I would be willing to transfer that fee into my new lease if the wanted my car. I just really want out. I could try leasetrader, but the odds of me getting out would be slim. The dealer could point the way to my car. They might see it as an opportunity for business. Its worth a try I think. They leased me the car. Any advice would be helpful. I am wanting either Jetta or Passat. |

Tell them you want the Costco deal that Mike got last week ... I went with the SE/automatic. 36 mo/10,000 miles and got $245. 12,000 miles would be a little higher than that. Let me know if you have any other questions...I was certainly happy to find info on this forum!

Glad I found Trend Motors this time. They have a pretty decent stock right now... oh, and if you go to "www.VW.com/NYoffer" it is a $500 coupon from the NY autoshow. good thru 4/30 I believe....I used it..!

Hey guys, my girlfriend has been wanting to get into a Jetta and she wants to lease. So far, this is the best we've been able to get: 09 Jetta S "California Edition" (17" anthracite-looking wheels, Bluetooth, spoiler) $239/mo w/taxes included $2500 down 15,000 mi (What's the invoice + holdback on this bad boy? Would it be too aggressive to negotiate price to invoice as a start for the lease?) She is a new college grad with good, but short, credit. I don't have the money factor or residuals, but hopefully this is enough to work with. We're in San Diego and would be willing to drive for a great deal. Is this a decent deal? Should we be working on an SE instead of the California edition (is there more room to negotiate)? Is there any way to put less down?
