The turn fee is called a disposition fee. This is fee all captive finance (BMW Financial, Honda Finance, etc) companies charge on leases. This is a typical fee and varies from finance company to finance company. The disposition fee will be waived under the VCI lease loyalty program when you turn in this lease and get a new VCI lease in the future. Enjoy your new VW lease. das auto

All current sub-vented VCI lease programs expire on 3/31/2009. Volkswagen of America and VCI will have all new programs on 4/1/2009.

Good lease deal? by jerseyshore3

I'd like to know if anyone has the MF and residual for March for a Jetta SE...I'm considering leasing a Jetta SE and negotiated the following deal via email. The dealership did not give me the MF or residual even though I asked for it twice.

36 month lease, 15k mi/yr
Base model with Ipod adapter add-on only.
MSRP: $22,094
Sale Price: $19,943 ($1,000 below invoice)
Up Front Fees: $1,000
I told them I only wanted to put down the inception fees and nothing more. Per the dealership, this is for "up front fees". Still waiting for clarification whether taxes are included in this monthly payment (I live in NJ). Does the $1,000 seem a bit high for inception fees?

Monthly payment: $299.

I only have one more day before this deal changes. I don't know if it will change for the better or not? I've heard that the last few days of the month, dealerships are always willing to negotiate a bit more to move their inventory.

Thanks in advance for your help!

It seems okay.

From the info on this forum, the MF is .00101 and the residual is 54%. Using the figures you posted, I come up with a monthly payment of $307.

I'm picking up a Jetta SE also today- the price is higher since it has auto trans, sunroof, and couple of other items. I'm putting $2500 down - which includes all upfront fees, licensing, etc. and the monthly payment is $249.00.

I'm sure I could have haggled a somewhat better deal but even if they dropped another few hundred off the selling price, the lease payment only would drop a few dollars.

I just picked up my Jetta SE yesterday. Mine came with auto transmission, the ipod adapter, and matt kit. My negotiated sales price was $19,740. (Dealership gave me an offer similar to yours, but ultimately agreed to reduce it by $200. You might go back to them and ask if they are willing to take any further reductions.) The MF and residual were .00101 and 54%, respectively. I put down $1,000 to cover the acquisition fee, etc., which seems pretty standard. My monthly payment is $253 (not incl sales tax).

Good luck!

Probably Leasing a Jetta Wolfsburg Today -- Assistance Please by i_miss_boston

I live in the Los Angeles area and am likely going to enter into a lease agreement today or tomorrow for a 2009 Jetta Wolfsburg (automatic transmission). The cost of the car listed online at the dealer's website is about $23,524, which seems higher than what various online reports suggest.

I do not want to pay any money down, at all, and do not have a trade-in. Multiple dealerships in LA have the Wolfsburg I want, although I would prefer to work with one salesman and not pit them against each other. I will be looking for a 3-year lease at 12,000 miles per year.

Based on whatever the new April MF and residual rates are (which I'll ask for but don't currently know), what do you think is the best monthly payment I can negotiate in this economy? $330 before taxes?

Thank you all very much for your help. I appreciate it.

I'm basically looking at the exact same vehicle as you right now.
Same sticker price, automatic, 12k, 3yr, zero drive-off, etc, etc...... and without going into TOO much detail, I can tell you that you should be able to get $330 after taxes without breaking a sweat.

I'm looking for April lease info (MF & residual) on the SEL Jetta Sport Wagon - 15k & 36 months. Do options impact the residual at all?

If so I'm looking at adding:
3FU Power Panoramic Sunroof
4X4 Rear Side Airbags
JWP Jetta SportWagen Protection Kit
JWG Splash Guards

Thank you so much!
