That's where I leased mine on Jan. 2. It's a better deal than what I got, esp. the mileage.

Car_man (Or anyone who might know),
What are the current (January 2007) residual and money factor for a 2007 Jetta GLI. If you could list different terms along with their numbers that would be great, if not. Please let me know what a 24month/15k lease MF and Residual would be.
Thanks,
Fstyles

Car_man,
I'm going to the dealership to negotiate on a 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg with automatic transmission tonight. The only option I am selecting is the jetta ground effects kit (invoice of $1390). Can you please let me know what the money factors and residual value are for 24 month lease and 36 month lease at both 12,000 and 15,000 miles per year?
Also, I know Jettas aren't the world's most popular car right now. Should I expect to pay much more than invoice?
Thanks for your assistance!

Hello alexisp91. Here is Volkswagen's latest lease program for the car that you are interested in. Volkswagen Credit's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2007 VW Jetta Wolfsburg with 10,000 miles per year are .00160 and 60%, respectively. I would be happy to give you my opinion of the deal that you were quoted, however it would be a big help if you were able to provide me with this car's full MSRP and selling price first. The selling price is a very important number for you to know anyhow. the selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. Let me know what these numbers are and I'll tell you what I think.

Hi Nick. Volkswagen is not currently providing any cash incentives on the 2007 Jetta. Its lease program varies by term and mileage allowance. You never mentioned either of these items in your post, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. VW Credit's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00149 and 54%, respectively.

Hi leonardedwards. It is always a good idea to find out the MSRP and selling price of the vehicle that you want to lease before finalizing your deal. These numbers will show you how much of a discount you are being given. At first glance, this lease payment looks attractive to me, but I will be able to give you a more detailed analysis of this deal if you let me know what these numbers are.
