Hi,
 
Can anyone tell me if I got a good deal or not on my lease?
 
2012 Base w/ Auto DSG 1000.00 down w/ 320.84 for 36 months on A credit rating.
 
After reading the lease contract and noticing they move things all around but still kept my monthly the same I'm not sure if I got a good deal or if there was more negotiating room.
 
My overall month ended up at 335.00 after I added the the lease excess wear protection waiver.
 
Gross Cap cost = 25144.00 (includes excess wear n tear, and 625 acq fee)
Cat cost reduction = 616.47
Adj cap = 24527.53
Residual value = 14817.15
Depreciation = 9710.38
Rent Charge = 1487.06
Total Base Payments = 11197.44
 
Term 36 311.04 + tax 24.11 = 335.15
 
What do you think??? I think I can tricked on one thing. With my 1000.00 down they used a 335.15 paid by vw as a promotion this month I think. This must have helped pad their commision. I was lost in the payments trap. i got the payment I wanted and the down I wanted and that was it. Give me your thoughts

I need Nov mf/residual numbers for a 2012 GTI 4 dr. gas automatic with convenience/sunroof
 
-NY
-36 months
-10K miles per
 
I've been given .000205 for 36 months but I think they're padding it a bit.

VW has posted a 36 month/36k mile GTI lease deal for November on their site but don't give the most important numbers, of course.
 
On the given example of a base manual, it looks like the residual is 58% and the stated payment is $339 before taxes/fees.
 
They also say something about it including a $400 dealer contribution. How does that factor in?
 
And what would the money factor be?
 
I am looking for a 2012 GTI w/Convenience/Sunroof Pkg. though, not the Base.
 
I also need 15k miles/yr.

I know that Volkswagen is waiving the first month's payment and security deposit for leases through its Sign-Then-Drive program. I'm not sure about the acquisition fee, but I suspect that lessees still have to pay it, or at least roll it into their vehicle's capitalized cost to bake it into their monthly payment. The same definitely would go for the doc fee, and TTL.

The "$400 dealer contribution" means that the dealer has to discount the vehicle $400 to arrive at the advertised payment. Savvy consumers who live in an area that has a decent level of competition should be able to negotiate a larger dealer discount than that.
 
VW Credit's lease money factor for this car is .00105. The 36-month, 15k residual value for this car is 53%.
