Hi polyvw. Through July 8th, Volkswagen Credit's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2007 VW GTI (both the 2- and 4-Door) with 15,000 miles per year are .00175 and 64%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00175 and 55%. VW is running a special program on this car that enhances its money factor to .00117 in the Central and Eastern U.S. This is a pretty good deal on an amazing vehicle. It's a lot better than its previous lease program.
Through July 8th, VW Credit's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2007 Jetta GLI with 15,000 miles per year are .00068 and 59%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are .00068 and 51%. When negotiating your lease on the GLI, make sure to take the $750 VW Credit bonus cash that is currently available on it into account. It will help you to negotiate an attractive capitalized cost for your lease. I am not aware of any cash incentives for loyal owners or recent college grads.

Hello wylyth. Through July 8th, Volkswagen Credit's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 GTI with 12,000 miles per year are .00175 and 57%, respectively. This money factor is enhanced to .00117 in the Central and Eastern U.S. If you were to lease this car with only 10,000 miles per year, its residual value would be 1% higher.
I know that Illinois' sales tax laws for leases are terrible. I don't know the exact details of how sales tax is calculated in your state, but I would not be surprised if the way that you described it is correct. You may be able to find out additional information on how sales tax is calculated in your state by visiting the following sites: CyberDrive Illinois or Illinois Department of Revenue.

Hey Kameron. Through July 8th, Volkswagen Credit's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 VW GTI 4-Door with 15,000 miles per year are .00175 and 55%, respectively. This car's special factor is enhanced to .00117 in the Central and Eastern U.S. I do not believe that VW is providing any cash incentives on this car right now. It is difficult to say what its lease program will be like after this one expires. Please feel free to check back with me after the new program is announced and I will gladly provide you with its details.

Thanks Car_Man. You Rule! I nabbed an excellent lease in Philadelphia last Saturday, June 30th. I got Edmunds invoice price, plus the .00117 MF and 55% residual. I calculated my "best case scenario" lease numbers and they agreed to it, no games.
I researched about two months, and it paid off big-time -- this is the best deal I've ever gotten.

Awesome deal. I'm in Phila too, who did you deal with? My GF is looking to lease a wolfsburg edition. We had a quote of $261/mo taxes included w/$1000 out of pocket for a 48/mo lease. The MSRP on the car was $21,500. Do you think that's a good deal? I thought it to be kind of high.

Hi Carman-
Could you provide the numbers for VW's leasing program subsequent to the promotion that ended on July 8?
Particularly I'd be interested in both the 24 month or 36 month lease, each with 15k miles per year.
Thanks!

Hi Carman-
I live in Boston (so I'm on the east coast) and I was just quoted a MF of .00205 for a 4-door, 36 month/15k mile lease, with residual of 55%. Has the program for the second half of June really gotten that much worse than the one you mentioned through the 8th (MF of .00117)?
Additionally, could you please provide the residual and MF for the current 24 month program as well?
Thanks a lot- Josh
