Anyone leased a 350 Roadster in the SF Bay Area recently? Any good/bad luck with any particular dealer?   I was quoted a MF of .00385 and residual of 53% on a 2006 Roadster with Touring Package and a price of $37500 by Capitol Nissan in SJ. The money factor sounds way too high to me - anyone had better luck?

hey car man, Could you please list the current money factor and residual for an 06 350z base model interlagos fire and side curtain airbags, 15k miles for two and three years (i don't know if its 24, 27, 36, or 39 months through nissan). Nissan Motor acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a base 2006 Nissan 350Z Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are .00285 and 56%, respectively. Hoping I could get some info about the following situation. My thanks go out in advance...   I'm 17 years old and am interested in driving an '06 350Z Touring Coupe. My parents have terrible credit and I know they will be declined for the lease.   I currently have $20,000 from a trust fund that is currently deposited in my checking account. My thought is that I could, dealership permitting, pay the complete sum of a 36 month lease in cash as a "down payment" to combat the fact that all I have is cash. Does anyone know if this would be possible or has heard of anything like this?   If not, is there a way to work around this? I have not been to any dealerships yet with this plan in mind. Any help would be appreciated.   Also, let's say that I do wind up paying the entire sum of the 36 month lease in one payment, or rather, as much of the down payment as possible, what figure am I looking to pay in total for the entire lease?   I also have other money set aside for insurance and whatnot.   ( This is my first step into the car-purchasing world, so please be thorough in explanation, sorry )   I'm specifically looking to get:   2006 350Z Touring Coupe w/:    6-spd manual    side and curtain airbags    carpeted floor mats    carpeted trunk mat    aluminum kick plate    areodynamics package   According to nissanusa.com, Total Configured MSRP† $34,485   Much appreciated, Cory

Let's say there is a 48 month lease with 50 of 60k miles left for an '06 350Z GT Roadster?   How can you tell what a good rate would be to take over the lease payments?   thanks,   Mike

I was thinking about leasing a Grand Touring Roadster--39 months, 12000 miles, 0 down. Would it be better to wait a couple months for the 2007? I'm not going to buy at the end of the lease, so I'm not sure if payments will be much more if I wait or if a much better deal can be had on a 2006 once the 07 is out? What do you think? Replying to: jmatson266 (Nov 17, 2006 7:09 pm) That would be an easy choice for me -- basically you are saying that you want to rent it for 3 yrs.   Let's assume that its 40k base, and 20k for residual for the '07 for the '06 let's say they knock it down to 36K and 18k   Is the $2k difference really worth just saying you have an '07 -- which for a Z are virtually identical?   m

Given the lack of lease support on the Nissan 350Z, all things being equal (namely the selling price), I would not be surprised if it was actually less expensive to lease a 2007 model when it comes out than it would be to lease a 2006 model because the '07 350Z will likely have higher residual values. This is all just speculation though because I don't believe that Nissan has published a lease program for the 2007 350Z yet. Which model ends up being cheaper will ultimately depend upon how much lower a selling price you are able to negotiate on a 2006 model when the '07s finally arrive at dealers.   Car_man Host Prices Paid Forum

Hello CarMan, first of all thanks for all the valuable help that you provide, Great Work!...Anyway, I am looking to lease a 2006 Nissan 350Z Touring. Per your advice I am not going to put any money down. I'd like to lease for 36 or 39 months, 15K miles per year. Could you please tell me around how much I should expect to pay a month for this vehicle?? Nissan's websites lists Base MSRP at $32,450. Also do I need to make sure that the car comes with a bumper to bumper warranty?? or does this come standard with all leases??.Hopefully it will be below $550.
