You have the best color/interior , like mine. My deal was a bit better on the cap with the moonroof but my payments would have been $480 for my 36 month/36k mile deal. Had to pay 6.5% sales tax on the cap up front. Put a bunch down -- rookie mistake-- so payments are $340. Looks like you did real well.

Murano SL AWD Lease ?

I'm living in the Pittsburgh area and interested in leasing a Murano SL AWD with the Premium and Leather packages. Considering the Tech package and dual panel moonroof. Here is my initial quote from a dealer...
Murano SL with all premium, leather, tech and moon roof. MSRP $36,590
39 month lease 12,000 miles
$487.53 per month with $1423.53 due
Payment and fees include tax there is nothing extra.
What kind of deal could I get if these are my stipulations...no more the first payment down, 39 month lease, 15,000 miles/yr.
Any info would be helpful as I am a first time lessee and new to the game.

The deal seems fair. You might want to ask for the numbers for 36 months [payment will be higher] which keeps you inside the warranty[worth it]. At 39k you might have tire issues as well -- depends. You can roll those fees into the payment -- it will go up some as well. So -- get the payments for 36 months with all fees included and compare. Also ask for the residual %- the money factor- and cap cost. I believe you are getting a decent deal -- you might ask for oil changes every 3750 miles. My dealer does that -- he gets you on tire rotations [7500miles] but also has a record of service when the car is turned in. I grew up in Greensburg on chipped ham sandwiches.

I picked up Murano here in Pa. on Nov. 26th with same options and mine included Tech and moonroof. I was Nissan customer so got $1000 leas loyalty on top as well. With 39 month and 15,000 year, I paid $600ish out of pocket and my payment is $405/month includes tax. Black on Black and got for $3000 under invoice.

TonyK -- Do you mind letting me know what dealership you went to to get such a great deal? I live in Brooklyn but would be willing to buy in PA to save some money. I was looking at the SL AWD with only the Premimum and Leather Packages and 10,000 miles a year and a Brooklyn dealer quoted me over $500 a month......which was crazy!!

The most important item that needs to be addressed in leasing a LE, is negotiating a great price. The Depreciation factor is higher than the sl or s but I think the money factor is the same. One poster got $5700 off msrp on a LE that listed for 38k. That would be a nice target but Seattle might be less accomodating. Good luck.

Hi bajaspeed. It's not quite before the first, but here's the latest info if you're interested. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Murano SL FWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00154 and 51%, respectively. The money factor for a 12k lease is the same, but the residual value is 1% higher.
