Here is the lease sheet print out on a murano sl awd that listed for $34240 and sold for $29266 --- I did not get the 1k rebate but this was available to the dealers before it was announced and I did get it. This murano had the leather, premium, sunroof, mats and mud guards. The no money down deal including Illinois sales tax was $483.80 for 39 months and 12k miles per year. You could buy that car at the dealership I bought mine for $5500-6000 off list but you would still have a more expensive car to figure your lease. Your deal is bad from a selling point --they figure you are interested enough to be worn down. I don't know where you live but you could fly to the St. Louis area and drive home your murano and save $2500 on the deal minus you airfare. You could take the bus or hitch hike and save more. They have a bunch of LE's with $5000 off just to start -- you might ge the 1k on top.

LOL, I live in Maryland so tax is 6%. I now have two dealers working for me. I went back to my 1st dealer today and modified my offer to now roll taxes into lease and only put a solid 1K but still be under $500.00 for payment. He called back tonight and is trying to get me out of nav. now and offered 1k down plus 1st month rent. for SL loaded , no nav. $530.00, with Nav is now up to $588.00. He won't be clear on actual car cost we are working with to get to these numbers. I ask for him to talk to Fi guy and clear up numbers.
Dealer 2 called back and offered a better deal. SL loaded w/o nav. is at $495.00 or with nav. $525.00 with only 1K down. This seems promising but said couldn't move on anything until after the weekend.

To Car Man ;Negotioning money factor by jayrider

Car man ... as I am digesting my foray into car leasing, I realize that one area I didn't do well, on was the money factor. I didn't realize I could have negotiated the figure. I negotiated a great price on my murano 2200 under invoice so I don't know if they would have budged on the money factor which was .00239 or 5.736 %. This was for the 36 month lease --- the 39month was over 7%. My credit score was over 800 so I got the fair rate but I don't know whether I could have recieved a super rate because I didn't ask for one. Don't know if I'll lease again --- Illinois requires the taxes up front and if you purchased after the lease you pay it again. Won't buy it unless the auction value in three years is down around 10-11k instead of the 20k on the residual. Who knows ? The market in three years will be post-crash so anything is possible. Have a guess?

"TAX CREDIT" All the dealer have them, You have to pressure them to use it on your deal! They can offset all your tax and more if they want to make the deal. It worked lik a charm for me last week. I put 1,000down. It included my first payment, fees, etc. My payment is $486 on a Murano SL AWD all packages including Nav.
 We are loving the car!!!!!!

Do you live in a state like illinois that taxes the total cost of the car up front instead of on each monthly payment? I actually get the entire sales tax as a deduction on my federal income tax --- as a retired teacher who lives in Illinois, I pay no state income tax and can as such use the sales tax table plus the big ticket purchase. Every little bit helps.

Lease Offer last night by ngordon

Seems like there is a new lease program for Murano's. I have had a couple NJ Dealers tell me the MF on 36 & 39 month leases at .00208. Offer over the phone last night was 39 mth, 12k, ZERO down (my preference) for an SL AWD - $390/month incl. everything. The cash from Nissan includes $1000 as current murano/nissan customer. I know this is at least $1k under invoice, but I am undecided; Looking at a Tiguan today.

Not a bad price, depending on option packages..

I doubt you'll be able to touch that price on a comparable Tiguan. I really like those, though..

Just drove the tiguan; Wife loved it and I liked it. Smaller, but more nimble than the Murano; Better toys in the VW - heated cloth seats, ginormous sunroof. But it is smaller, only FWD (not 4motion) and my last murano had NO problems; Tiguan MF=.00135, residual = 53%. For $0 down, $405 / month. That includes $500 bank fee and first month rolled into net cap cost. While its hard to compare Apples to Oranges, I may have to go for the Murano, especially if they give a little more.

KYFDX/CAR MAN - what your sense of better lease support form Nissan in Dec. Are they getting more desperate?? Got my Altima in June with an MF of .00018 and would love to see that for muranos

If I read your post coorectly, are you saying that for390./mo. you can get a Murano SL AWD (2009) fully loaded: Leather, dual moon roof, Tech Pkge, Premium Pkge, with Nav ? Does Zero down mean you just pay DMV fees and 1st month? (roll bank fee & taxes into lease).

If I am correct with all of this, could you PLEASE give me the names of the NJ Dealers who quoted this offer. I can't come close to that price on Long Island. Thanks, Bob

Not the case - this is AWD SL with NO other major options. I still have to beg for mats and cargo net. If you get that price including those options, please let me know... I would even go to LI for that
