This forum helped me so here is my deal i signed yesterday: 09 Murano SL AWD (with premium package and leather package) 39 Months 15k miles per year $950 total due at signing $409.09 base payment I also had 1,200 negative equity in the deal that is rolled into the above numbers, so without that base payment would have been around 375-380 i assume. I'm in southern california. Thanks again.

Here was mine... 09 Murano SL FWD (Leather, Premium Pkg, Tech Pkg., Dual Sunroof, NAV) 39 Months 12k miles per year $538 (first month's payment) due at signing $538 per month This is in Texas, which requires that you pay sales tax (6.25%, I think) against the full value of the vehicle. Dealer paid all taxes, fees, etc. and an additional $315 for my last payment on my Altima. Did I get fleeced? Or did I make a decent deal? |

March sales numbers are posted on Nissan's corporate website. Nissan posted a 36% decrease in overall sales over prior year. The Murano faired a little worse with a decrease of 40% over prior year. This could bring about some deals on 09 Murano's as we approach the timeframe where 2010's will be available. I don't know about anyone else, but I cannot get any dealer within a 75 mile radius to make a deal with me on an 09 Murano LE w/moonroofs for under 600/month......and thats putting down 2K. I'm getting quotes via the internet and going back and forth with several dealers. My understanding is that Corp. Nissan is offering dealers all sorts of incentives and holdbacks in an effort to increase sales and these incentives change almost daily from corporate. I'm standing firm on my price range of 500-525/month with nothing to lass than 1K down. Wish me luck. Almost forgot does anyone have any idea of how many Murano LE's are available across the country? Did not know if their is info available out on the web that provides these details. |

So, hard to find models and outfittings are hit & miss. The dealer haggling is drudgery BUT a lot can be learned before going to the showroom that can be used to negotiate to a very good position. I went in to the showroom saying I wanted a loaded Murano SL knowing that deals weren't happening and that when I was 'upgraded' to an LE, I could posture that I wasn't all that interested in the wheels and other items, I had a payment target. There still are good sales managers who can be told what your trigger is. Sure it always involves money but there are other components like availability and trade-offs that work best in person. Many Internet buyers regret some form of 'gotcha' that is facilitated by the lack of give and take. My two cents. Buying is really not an experience that everyone enjoys! -Steve |

Replying to: jrubell (Apr 01, 2009 11:53 am) Does anyone know what the residuals, money factors are for April? We're also considering an LE AWD. It seems like 12K miles is as low as Nissan goes. I don't think they do 10K leases, does anyone know? Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
