Because the info I got from this website on leasing a couple of years ago, when my wife's 07 maxima lease was stolen two weeks ago, we got $2000 from insurance AFTER paying the lease out! And we put ZERO money down on the lease. Not even first month. Nothing but taxes and title fee. I am looking for the lease numbers right now for a 2008 maxima. She wants the same car and wants it FAST. She is a tier 0, nmac credit preapproval. (This is her third car with them). So I REALLY like this service and appreciate it. Thanks for a speedy reply.

Replying to: rwalkeredmund (Feb 26, 2008 12:15 pm) The market for new vehicles is pretty slow right now. If you are in an area that has a decent level of competition, you should not have any problem finding a dealer that will lease you a Maxima for a couple hundred dollars over dealer invoice and then subtract the $550 dealer cash incentive that is available on leases of this car. You can look up the invoice price of the exact model that you are interested in by visiting the New Vehicle Pricing section of Edmunds.com. Once you arrive at a selling price that you are comfortable with, you need to make sure that the dealer uses this car's buy rate lease money factor to calculate your monthly payment. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s buy rate varies by term. Its current 36 month buy rate is .00016 for the '08 Maxima SE. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum

Looking to lease a 2008 Maxima. Not sure if I should get the SE and get it with leather and Bose stereo. or SL. Those are the 2 options that we really want. No money down, 36-39 months and 20-25,000 miles Was quoted $450 for an SE with leather, bose and power moonroof. Is this a good deal? And how do I know what a good buyout price is and price per mile if I go over 20,000? Thanks for any help.

I am currently attempting to negoatiate a lease on a new Maxima. The specific model I am negotiating is a 2008 MAXIMA SL Auto with: VDC, Moonroof, Platinum Edition, Navigation, Floor Mats. MSRP: $35,965 Based on the Current 39-month/12,000 mile lease special, I am showing NMAC is offering a money factor of .0016 and a residual value of 50%. My question is, what would an appropriate money factor and residual value % be on a 24-month/12,000 mile lease? My guess is same money factor, but a residual near 70%? Thanks! |

I think because the 09' redesign is coming out there really trying to push the Maximas off the lots. I've done pretty well with car deals but this one is hands down my best yet. I was getting quotes for Civic Si's for $340 plus tax. |
