Hi Car_Man,

Do you have the December lease rates for the 4 door 2009 Altima's, 2.5SL and 3.5SL, for 36 and 39 months?

Many Thanks!

I got an email blast from a Nissan dealer here in the MSP area with the copy (below) that suggests there may be additional new incentives from Nissan?

Car_Man, care to elaborate?

$229 / month Sign and Drive
Lease on 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S

This is a true no money down lease. Just sign and drive. Recent increases in incentives from Nissan USA have allowed us to make this great lease offer.
Lease Details: 39 month lease. 12,000 miles per year. $0 security deposit. No other fees due at inception. $229 payment does not include applicable sales tax. Offer valid through 12-31-2008. may not be combined with any other coupons or offers. Offer based on approved credit.

The Nissan webite says that a new "holiday" $750 rebate is available till years end and can be applied to a lease. I'm interested to see if the MF and Residual rates are untouched.

Hi car man:

2009 Altima 2.5 4 cyl. with convenience and mats and splash guards
msrp 23595.00. If I can negotiate selling price of 21000.00 (prior to the
current 1500.00 rebates which will be used to reduce cap cost). Add
in acquisition fee %595.00 and NJ tax 7% only on lease portion not full selling price, based on today's money factor and residual can you give me monthly payment? I will pay cash for doc fees and motor vehicle fees.
Thanks.

Hi riskiad. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Altima 2.5 SL with 15,000 miles per year are .00174 and 60%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00174 and 59%.

Interestingly, NMAC's numbers for an '09 Altima 3.5 SL are exactly the same.

When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $750 bonus cash that Nissan is currently providing on it.

Car_man,

Could you please clarify this for a novice: can the cash back be applied for a lease? Different posts are contradicting: some say no (only cash) others say yes, sure. Even when reading the edmunds incentives I don't get it:

"Restrictions $xxx Dealer cash may not be combined with 0% APR - 0.90 % APR and vehicle must be financed through the manufacturer's captive finance company.
Comments Dealer participation may vary. Incentives and Rebates are provided subject to the terms of our Visitor Agreement."

The way I read the above is that by leasing the dealer still gets its cash back -if they participate, that is. Am I wrong?

Any ideas?
Thanks a lot,
C
