Hi car_man and everyone else! I am new to leasing and I know there is a formula to calculating a lease payment, but I couldn't find it on the site so I was hoping someone could help me. I am looking for an Altima coupe 2.5S, CVT with convenience package. I spoke with a dealer who offered a 2008 with a selling price of $22,097. He quoted me $354 a month for 39 months/12k with $650 (1st payment, document fees, plates) out of pocket. This seems a little high to me, especially for a 2008. I would prefer a 2009 and a 36 month lease. Can anyone advise me on this? Also does anyone know how much more the convenience plus package is? I'm in Ohio (in case that makes a difference). Thx in advance!

Got the deal I posted above, plus they sweetened it to $429/mo. Thanks everyone! |

Replying to: ebetty (Nov 03, 2008 3:14 am) Nissan is not providing any customer or dealer cash incentives on the '09 Altima this month, but it is running a stair-step program that provides dealers with a special cash allowance that escalates as they sell more units. This will only amount to a couple hundred dollars, but it might motivate dealers to take thinner deals than they normally would to hit their objectives.
