I am Looking for a sharp deal on a lease now considering the Altima. I was quoted on 12K/39 months 2.5 SL with tech/connection package 330 plus tax in south Fla. Seems like a pretty sharp deal based on the ameneties of the car. I saw JD power gave the Altima high marks. The dealers I called told me they really dont offer much with the 3.5 SL as they move peoplefrom that car directly to the Maxima and they sell or lease few 3.5 SLs.

Difficulty getting an Internet Quote for Altima on Long Island by joeygtp

Hi All,

I am trying to get an Internet quote on the Altima. I am using Edmunds' Quick Quote, providing specific information as to what I need including options, miles per year, no trade in, excellent credit rating, etc, etc. I have yet to receive an actual quote from any of the three dealers I copied on my request. All have emailed me, and called me on the telephone asking for "more specific information to ensure they serve me better". I have answered the emails and the phone calls and given all the information they asked for. The best I got was a ballpark figure of "high $200s". One dealer flat out told me on the phone that he wouldn't do an Internet quote because the guy down the street would beat him by $1 and he'd lose the deal. All the dealers were very anxious to get me to come on down, and to bring my 13 year old clunker as they had a waiting list for "station cars". Has anyone been successful in getting Internet quotes from Nissan dealers on Long Island? I used Quick Quote for a Honda Accord, and received a quote without any issues at all. I am very hesitant to walk into the dealer without any ammo!!

Hi squeeky088. That sounds like an advertisement from a local dealer rather than an official Nissan ad. Perhaps this is one of those ads that contains a disclaimer stating "only one vehicle available at this price" or perhaps this is a 60 month lease because I can assure you that if one could really lease an Altima for 36 months at $79 per month with nothing down I'd have one sitting in my garage right now.

I would be happy to work up a sample lease payment on the car that you are interested in for you if you provide me with its MSRP.

Hello teddyteddy. I personally feel as though the best way to evaluate a lease is to look at the selling price that it is based upon. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. Without this number, it is difficult to tell how large a dealer discount you are being given. Let us know what it is and I'm sure that either myself or another knowledgeable community member will be happy to give you their opinion.

Here's the information that you're looking for, anatolych. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Altima Coupe 3.5 SE with an automatic transmission and 12,000 miles per year are .00195 and 52%, respectively.

Hi derfson. See my previous couple of posts for an idea of what Nissan's current lease program is like. If you are interested in a different trim level, let me know and I can tell you what the specific lease program for that car is like right now.

As far as cash incentives go, Nissan's normal consumer cash is not compatible with its special lease program. However, it is providing a $500 4th of July bonus cash incentive on this car through today that is. There's also a grand for anyone who trades in a GM or Chrysler product.
