You're very welcome gobigblueku. Mercedes-Benz Financial's current buy rate for a 36-month lease of a ML350 4Matic is indeed .00155. The dealer that you're working with is not marking your vehicle's factor up. You can do a little better leasing for 33 months though because I believe that Mercedes-Benz is allowing lessees to use its 30-month residuals for 33-month terms. If that is indeed the case, the resid for a 15k lease would be 62%.

Welcome suv350. Since you are new to leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles on the subject that are available here at Edmunds.com: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

In short, the easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

#1236 of 1548 2012 Bluetec ML by temiz

Hi CarMan,

What is the residual and lease rate for 2012 ML Bluetec with Prem 1 and 2 package which has about 61400 usd. for 30 or 33 months 12000 miles a year?

And also do they have any incentives for December or Christmas. I am planning to get one next week, the one that i ordered. Should I wait till the end of the year?

What is the best amount to to negotiate for this car 54K maybe?

Thanks

Thanks for the info. Couple questions for clarification:

Is your monthly lease payment of $675 including tax?
Is total out of pocket including down $2,850?

#1239 of 1548 2012 ML350 Lease Offer by youn0813

Dec 06, 2011 (10:13 pm)

I just got back from the local MB dealer with the following offer on an ML350 with package 1:

MSRP: $54,025
Selling Price: $48,980 (I think this included the $1,095 acquisition fee)
MF: 0.00182 (approved for top-tier)
Term: 30-month, 10K/year
Money down: $0 (other than 1st month payment)
Monthly payment before taxes: $1131.11 first month, $615.19 thereafter
RV: I think they said it was 65% after 30 months

It looks to me like a good lease offer with about 6K off of the sticker price. Is it? I'm going back this weekend to seal the deal. However, I'm unable to calculate this monthly payment using the lease formula. I'm getting higher numbers. I was amazed at the effort I needed to get an actual offer from two separate dealerships. One played the "dumb" salesman, who quickly lost my interest and made me soon after the test drive, and the other gave me numbers up front without a credit application.

Raycee

Out of pocket is 2513 and 675 includes the taxes.

youn0813,

What else does that selling price include?

Do you have conquest or fleet incentive?

I didn't get to have Conquest (I'm eligible) or the fleet incentive (doesn't apply to me). They have a $2K winter event incentive that is mutually exclusive with Conquest and fleet incentives, so we used this $2K discount. I believe it is also a manufacturer discount. The additional discounts are from the dealership.

Do you think this is a good deal? Let me know if you have any other questions.

I need to make a correction to my original post:
I went to two separate dealership. The first one is where the salesman played dumb. The second dealership I went to was great, and the quote is from them.
