#2073 of 3246 My new E350 and my story
Dec 02, 2011 (4:14 pm)
Hi to all - I'm back after 4 years away from Mercedes - I've owned a 2006 Black E350 and a 2006 Dark Silver CL500. I really enjoyed both cars and put on 55,000 on the 06 E350 and about 15,000 on the CL500.
I went through some tough times but I'm back and 2 weeks ago I purchased a certified 2010 E350 sport with 21,000 miles for $38,900. It's a great car. I had gotten a great deal in late August on a 2011 E350 Sport - I was able to get $9,500 off MSRP on at a list of $57,345 but got tuned down by Mercedes Financial - I was not pleased but this 2010 E350 became available and I got a great finance rate with $15,000 down.
My wife has a 2010 Pearl Beige E350 sport - with P1, Distonic, Parktronic and leather - and in 2 months we're going to our local dealer and get the 2012 ML350 - I trust that Mercedes will still have the promo where they will allow up to 8 lease payments - as my wife's lease is up in 8 months.
But in any case - it's great to be back - and I've enjoyed reading this forum for the past 4 years.

Nothing to do with a E350 deal but just thought I would tell you about a deal that is happening with BMW 7 series hybrid right now till jan 4th. Deal is crazy with all the incentives that BMW giving towards this car. Monthly payment around $600-$700 for 10k miles with nothing out of the pocket for a $100000 car. Only thing is you have to do european delivery to ge this deal. I got off 14% off for euro delivery, and $13500 in incentive credits. total nearly $30000 off of a 2012 model car. I thought this deal was better than the current e350 deal MB was offering. They have no lease support on a 2012 bluetec. I have a 2011 e350 bluetec which I bought 4 months ago.

that is an incredible deal...i've been reading all about the 7 hybrid now. Its a ridic good deal. can you advice me on how to get the 14% off, for the euro delivery. I"m looking on bmw's website, it shows only a 7k savings for euro delivery. Can you provide more information. my email is v i n o d c at gmail.com (please remove the spaces.....didn't want spam). What dealership are you getting this from? Thanks in advance. this will end up cheaper than a e-class.

Hi gocard1. I completely agree with you. I definitely would not put down eight grand in MSDs for a difference of only .00012 in the money factor.

#2080 of 3246 December MF and Residuals for e350 coupe?
Dec 10, 2011 (3:09 pm)
would appreciate any insights on this - am talking to a dealer and will really help in the decision. Also, what are you hearing as a good price: Invoice + or - $$$?

Sorry - to be clear, i am looking to lease - 30 or 36 months 15k miles annual rate.
Is single pay a good option - reduces the rate decently it looks like.

A one pay lease is good option if you have the extra cash laying around and don't mind paying more upfront, especially on a 24 month lease. However, Mercedes has a generous early turn in program (as much as 8 months early) that you will not benefit from if you do the one pay option.
Things to keep in mind:
Top Tier Buy Money Factor .00162
Base Acquistion Fee $795
Winter Event $2,000
I believe there is an unadvertised Winter Event incentive of $2,000 to be used in cases where a customer does not qualify for either Conquest or Loyalty. Basically, anyone can get a $2,000 rebate.
Conquest, Winter Event and Fleet/USAA are mutually exclusive.
However, Loyalty can be combined with either one.
I suggest looking into a 24 month lease as well. Residuals are in the high 60s to low 70s, and depending on discount, can be cheaper than the 36 or 30 month leases.
As far as discount, depending on competition in your area, I would look to a sellling price below invoice before the $2,000 incentive.
BMW and Mercedes-Benz are in a sales war for the top Luxury Brand Auto Sales for 2011 (The first year in like 12 years it will not be Lexus) and excellent deals can be had this month.
