#752 of 1655 One Pay Lease Option Mercedes c300 by lindseyj

Jul 28, 2010 (6:06 pm)

Hello I want to lease at 2010 c300 sport package, however because I currently am not working (just graduated nursing school, waiting for some hits on my resume) they only way I can lease one is a One Pay lease option. which I can afford to do. Is this a good idea? i have always financed vehicles, but I get sick of them right around 21/2-3 years, so i decided leasing would work better for me...Please help!!

thanks!

Is the money factor still 0.00057 with 58% residual? I got a quote from local dealer with the following options:

 C300W $33,600
775 Iridium Silver $720
101 Black MB-Tex
P01 P01 Premium I Package: SIRIUS Satellite $2,300
R22 17" 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels
218 Dynamic Rear View Monitor $450
320 320 Multimedia Package: 7" Power Retract $2,650
333 333 Sport Sedan: Sport Body Styling, Mer
413 Panorama Sunroof $1,070
427 427 7-Speed Automatic Transmission: (Req $1,490
731 Burl Walnut Wood Trim $320
889 KEYLESS-GO $1,130

 SUBTOTAL $43,730
 DESTINATION & DELIVERY $875
 TOTAL $44,605

They quoted me with $900 down, 10k/year, $545/month with tax. I think it's bit high. Any suggestions? Also, please advise to take off some of the options that you think are not necessary? Thanks.

Thanks Mark. Here's the information that you're looking for.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 C300 Sport with 10,000 miles per year are .00260 and 58%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The reason that this car's money factor is so much worse than it was is Mercedes replaced its lease support on it with dealer cash. There is now $4,100 dealer cash on the '10 C300. Make sure to take this cash into account during your negotiations.
