| Having leased in prior years, I am fairly knowledgeable regarding the money factor and residual values, and what has caught my eye is the 61 percent residual on the heavily advertised "zero down" lease on the Mazda 3. I am agonizing on what to do and would appreciate your opinion. Is that particular lease "a no brainer" meaning that Mazda has built in subsidies that i cannot beat with another model, or would it be possible to "upgrade" to a different trim level, ie....with the sound system, moon roof, e.t.c..... essentially using the same money factor and RV? Or is it silly to walk in and negotiate a bit on a different trim level, only to find out that the money factor and RV is much different than the "zero down" advertisement...hope this makes sense, and would appreciate any tips.... | |

GT has residual of 60% with only 12k. The residuals vary by trim level and they have a super high residual in place for the sport so they can advertise a super lease deal.
