My Lexus dealer is quoting a money factor today of .00321 (7.704%). Is this a good rate? Also, should I be expected to pay what the dealer calls an "Acquisition Fee" of $700.00?

Thanks!

You can get away with not paying the acquisition fee and, needless to say, 7.704 is insanely high unless your credit is problematic. MF 0.0025 which is 6% is what they have for good credit buyers.

I don't believe you can get away with not paying the acquisition fee.

Looking at getting a 2010 RX 350 AWD in the next couple of weeks. The dealer I went to said there is a new leasing special on the 2010 RX 350. Do you have any details?

Can you give me the details (resid/MF) for a 2010 AWD with Nav, Premium, Comfort, Wood and Towing. MSRP is $46,593. Looking at a 36 mo lease with 12k miles per year.

Thanks.

Lease incentive question by newkid300

Hey carman,

Have you heard if Lexus is looking to offer any lease incentive on the 2010 RX 350 AWD. Looking for it with Nav and premium. Have offer of 12,000 miles per year, just first month, DMV and acquisition - total about $1565 to get into vehicle and lease of $663.25. MSRP is about $45,600 I believe.

Can you believe that I have a 2007 ES350 coming off lease on 7/6/09 which misses qualification for leave forgiveness program which just started because it is for leases that terminate from 8/1/09 through 11/30/09. Any thoughts? Dealer said there is not enough in deal for they to pick up my last month of $608 on my ES. They are holding car for a month so I can pay my last month on the ES.

Hi ach8888. I'd be happy to work up a lease payment on this truck for you. It's great that you know what the selling price is, many consumers ignore this important number when leasing, but I also need some other information from you to run a payment, including this vehicle's full MSRP, how long you want to lease it for, and what mileage allowance you need. Let me know and I'll crunch some numbers for you.

Hey ach8888. Here's a link to the 2010 RX 350 pricing page here at Edmunds.com: '10 RX 350 Pricing. The dealer invoice information that you're looking for is available there.
