Greetings gwynters. The money factor that you were quoted for this car is in line with the current buy rate lease money factor for it. The selling price that you were quoted looks good to me as well, assuming that it is before the deduction of any capitalized cost reduction. If you lease this car, make sure not to make such a large down payment though. If you do, you risk losing it if your vehicle is stolen or totaled in an accident. I always advise consumers not to make any sort of cap cost reduction when leasing.

I just double checked the lease payment that you mentioned and according to my calculations, the zero down, pre-tax, 36 month, 15,000 mile per year lease payment for a 2006 ES 330 with an MSRP of $38,904, a cap cost of $34,955, and a money factor of .00235 should be around $500.

Are there any special Lease deals on the 2006 ES330 or 350 cars? I am busy and hate going to the dealerships and such. I have used a lease broker in the past and have done well. Spoke to a local South Florida dealer Sat. After three coverations he tells me he cant quote prices over the phone. Looks like I go to another dealer.

Appeciate any suggestons. Considering the best deal I can get on a Lexus 330, BMW or similar class of car.

That looks like a fairly good deal. Did you get this price in S. Florida? I am looking for the same deal. I was quoted a similar price but on 48 months. told them to quote me on 36 months.

I was told the following by a local dealer. Since the ES350 replaces the 330 completely they are motivated to move the last 20 cars they have. This is ne of the largest if not the largest Lexus Dealer in the Country-Margate,FL.

They have a premium plus car (or several of them) Sticker was 36,359. They told me they will sell them for 31,900 so a 36 month lease with ZERO CAP COST reduction, 12K miles, will be $499.00.

The selling price of the car sounds ok to me but the $499 sounds high. Salesman claims Lexus Financial is not agressive in the financing part of the deal. I asked abot the 350 because it has a few nice features. He told me there is no incentives to move them and to igure about $100.00 a month addtl.

Appreciate any comments. I think he will make a lower offer to me than the 499 but trying to figure the best deal.

I think $499 seems high - at least compared to my deal in NJ. Mine was pretty much the same MSRP car, zero down, and the final monthly payment of $426, or really $399, before tax. I am sure you can squeeze more out of your dealer as they seemed desperate to unload 2006 models.

Thanks for the info. I am in South Fla. They dont seem desperate at all to move the 06 models. With no incentives I am not buying! They gave me a fair sale price for the car but a terrible lease offer.

Has anyone tried one of these national/internet lease companies such as autolease specialist or usautoleasing. They claim they can get any car in the US and have it delevered to you at a better deal than a dealership?

Lexus ES 350 lease question by jayb82
May 13, 2006 (10:55 am)
Hi Car_man

I've never leased a car before and was wondering if you could help me with the following lease quote.

2007 ES350 with Ultra luxury package

State: NJ County: STATE INCLUSIVE
Lease Term: 36
Total Payment: 819.19
Out of Pocket: 0.00
MSRP: 43,989.00
Residual: 26,393.40
Mileage: 15,000

I asked for zero money down. As of now the salesman is not budging on Sale price because this is a newly launched model.

I would like your opinion on this deal? Any suggestions on how I can negotiate a better deal?
Also I was told that the residual value/buying price is not negotiable at the end of the lease term, but I've known people who have negotiated a lower buyout price. Is this something that I have to haggle the dealer about?

Thanks for your time.

Car_Man,

I am looking at a 2007 ES350 w/Nav and Premium Plus with this:

State: TX County: Tarrant
Lease Term: 36
Total Payment: $662
Out of Pocket: $3000
MSRP: $40749
Selling Price: $39749
Residual: 62%
Mileage: 12k
Money Factor: .00355

I have already negotiated $1000 off the MSRP and they are providing free ceramic tint and all weather mats and oil changes for the 36 months.

My question is, is there anything in the financing side of the deal that is negotiable, specifically the money factor?

I am trying to get my payments as low as possible.

Thank you,

MartinR
