Hello all....first time I have been to this website. Okay here is want I am wanting to do, but don't know if it is feesible. I am looking at getting a 2006 GC, V6, with package 26x. MSRP is 33,995. I emailed them and they came back with an "internet special" of $28,204, including all discounts. Currently running is their "employee pricing for everyone program", but I don't know if this applies to leases. Here's the hitch. I am currently driving a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 and owe $21,293. I am guessing based on the TMV section of this website I may get $12K-13K for it. I want to do a 3 year lease with as little down as possible and keep my payments under $560.00. Is this reasonable, or am I too far upside down on my current car? What kind of payment would I be looking at? I have very good credit, and I don't want to put any money down if I don't have to. Thanks! Chad P.S. I live in Indiana and am looking at either 12K or 15K miles per year.

Car_man! I hope you can help us out here. We are looking at leasing an '06 JGC Laredo 4x4 V6 with the 26x pkg. We have been doing a lot of reading and research but we've never leased before and need some clarification on some things.   Here's the deal we have been offered - MSRP $34,145 "Employee Price": $30,333 -$2000 cash back: $28,333 + $75 (forgot what that was for) Vehicle Price (net cap?): $28,408   36mo./12,000 mi lease MF .00119 Residual 44%   The residual seemed very low to us. Especially because we were quoted 60% on a GMC Envoy.   We haven't sat down with the finance guy yet (they were an hour past being closed and he was still with another couple) but we managed to get these figures out of him before we left.   Good deal? Not so good? If not, what would be considered a good deal? What should the MF & residual be? The more I read on these posts, it doesnt seem like the Employee Price is the best price? What should the monthly payment be? He said it would be mid to high 300s. Online calculators say differently. Should I expect any other "hidden" costs?   Thank you so much!

Hi carman I'm looking at getting a jeep grand cherokee limited 4x4 with the 5.7 hemi. I'm interested in a 36 month lease with 12000 miles a year. I have gotten a price on one fitted how I would like it and would like to know the current Chrysler lease programs to make a deal soon. The msrp is $42995 and the final price before the acquisition fee is $33963(rebates have been included in this price 4000 to be exact). I have a feeling I can move the price down at least another 700. Any input will be greatly appreciated.   Thanks Tishomi

Hi CarMan,   My lease is almost up and I want to lease a 06 overland with a msrp of 43415 and a lease price of 34718. I will be placing 5000 down. I know that you say that I should not put down any money but I am going to. Can you tell me what the payment would be for a 24 and a 36 month lease. Thanks a lot. DaimlerChrysler's Employee Pricing promotion will run through August 31st. In addition to the ability to lease this truck at the employee price, DaimlerChrysler is providing $2,000 lease cash, $1,000 Chrysler Financial bonus cash, and another $1,000 bonus cash on V8 models that have been in dealer inventory since March 31st. Make sure that the dealer you are working with is subtracting these incentives from your truck's price. If you are not completely sold on leasing, wait until September to get your new Grand Cherokee. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4WD with an MSRP of $43,415 and a selling price of $34,718 through Chrysler Financial right now for 24 months with 15,000 miles per year, your $5,000 down, pre-tax monthly payment should be around $324. I'm ready for my 2nd trip to the dealer (Charlotte, NC) but could use more lease info:   2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2WD w/package 28F, 4.7 V8 MPI, Sirius: MSRP $30,355 Dealer throwing in Class IV hitch also.   Looking at Jeep Special Offers: Selling Price $27k, -3500 lease cash, -1000 bonus cash = $22500   Credit Score is great, looking for MF & Residual information for Chysler Financial: 24/27/30/36/39 mo / 15k miles yr / 3000 down   The dealer is doing a trade with another, thinking of going to them for a better price since its on their lot.   Thanks in advance, C Replies to this message: Car_man (Sep 26, 2006 1:31 am)
