Hey Tony. The deferred payment program that DaimlerChrysler was running last month was not available on leased vehicles. It was only good on 60 month loans through Chrysler Financial.

A base 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2WD has a spread of just over $2,200 between its full MSRP and dealer invoice prices. When one adds the $3,000 lease cash that was available on this truck last month to this number we arrive at a total spread of around $5,200. You were quoted a discount of $5,145 on the truck that you are considering, so this is a pretty good deal. The money factors that you were quoted look about right as well. If you like the truck, I personally don't see any reason not to go for this deal.

Hi norbex. Both the $3,000 customer cash and no payments until 2007 are true, but they are not compatible unless you finance through Chrysler Financial at a pretty high interest rate. DaimlerChrysler's deferred payment program is only available on 5 year loans. In June is was offering 0% financing for 5 years, but this special rate was not compatible with this car's customer cash. As far as this truck's lease program goes, if you tell me how long you want to lease it for and how many miles per year you need to be able to drive it I will be happy to tell you what its current money factor and residual value should be like. You may be able to get an idea of how much you will have to pay for this truck right now by visiting the following section of this site: "Jeep Cherokee (All): Prices Paid & Buying Experience".

Greetings bamsdm. If you were to lease a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD through Chrysler Financial right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00225 and 50%, respectively. I have not seen this truck's 27 month program recently, but it is probably similar to its 24 month program: .00147 and 57%.

I would be happy to help you out, kindzcar. Are you interested in getting an idea of what these trucks' current lease programs are like? If so, tell me how long you want to lease them for and how many miles per year you need to be able to drive them and I will be happy to help you out.

Need some advice on leasing a JGC by davis14

Hello all....first time I have been to this website. Okay here is want I am wanting to do, but don't know if it is feesible. I am looking at getting a 2006 GC, V6, with package 26x. MSRP is 33,995. I emailed them and they came back with an "internet special" of $28,204, including all discounts. Currently running is their "employee pricing for everyone program", but I don't know if this applies to leases. Here's the hitch. I am currently driving a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 and owe $21,293. I am guessing based on the TMV section of this website I may get $12K-13K for it. I want to do a 3 year lease with as little down as possible and keep my payments under $560.00. Is this reasonable, or am I too far upside down on my current car? What kind of payment would I be looking at? I have very good credit, and I don't want to put any money down if I don't have to.
Thanks!
Chad
P.S. I live in Indiana and am looking at either 12K or 15K miles per year.

Couple of questions re leasing on JGC Laredo by hammer10

Car_man! I hope you can help us out here. We are looking at leasing an '06 JGC Laredo 4x4 V6 with the 26x pkg. We have been doing a lot of reading and research but we've never leased before and need some clarification on some things.

Here's the deal we have been offered -
MSRP $34,145
"Employee Price": $30,333
-$2000 cash back: $28,333
+ $75 (forgot what that was for)
Vehicle Price (net cap?): $28,408

36mo./12,000 mi lease
MF .00119
Residual 44%

The residual seemed very low to us. Especially because we were quoted 60% on a GMC Envoy.

We haven't sat down with the finance guy yet (they were an hour past being closed and he was still with another couple) but we managed to get these figures out of him before we left.

Good deal? Not so good?
If not, what would be considered a good deal? What should the MF & residual be?
The more I read on these posts, it doesnt seem like the Employee Price is the best price?
What should the monthly payment be? He said it would be mid to high 300s. Online calculators say differently.
Should I expect any other "hidden" costs?

Thank you so much!

CarMan,

What are the current residuals and money factor by CFC on a 2006 Jeep Ltd with the Hemi for a 27 or 36 month lease with 12k miles per year? I see DCX has extended employee pricing in August.

TIA

Hi carman I'm looking at getting a jeep grand cherokee limited 4x4 with the 5.7 hemi. I'm interested in a 36 month lease with 12000 miles a year. I have gotten a price on one fitted how I would like it and would like to know the current Chrysler lease programs to make a deal soon. The msrp is $42995 and the final price before the acquisition fee is $33963(rebates have been included in this price 4000 to be exact). I have a feeling I can move the price down at least another 700. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tishomi

Hi CarMan,

My lease is almost up and I want to lease a 06 overland with a msrp of 43415 and a lease price of 34718. I will be placing 5000 down. I know that you say that I should not put down any money but I am going to. Can you tell me what the payment would be for a 24 and a 36 month lease. Thanks a lot.
