discovery3 that isn't a good deal, if MSRP is $31K+ and the net cap is $30k+ where did that 3K rebate come into play ? Dealer invoice for the Jeep base is $25K 4x2 and $27K 4x4, the X pkg is $3278 dealer invoice. Now there is dealer hold back of 8% on MSRP that is the profit the dealer can play with... Your sounds like a 4x2 w/ 4.7 v8 that option is $635 dealer cost... Again you should be able to get that jeep for $26K... you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain..

I'm sorry, I gave you the wrong net cap. All these terms confuse me! The net cap is $26K and change. The car I want is the 4x2 3.7 Liter v6 engine. When I met with the sales guy, I was not basing the lease price on the net cap of the car (oops!), but on what I wanted my payments to be based on the Pacifica. I didn't want my payments to be much higher than that. So, does the $397.49 (tax included) sound any better now?

Yes, but to go into a dealership and say, take my trade (pay it off) and I'll take your new car all for payments at about my old payments isn't the right way to go about it. But I think you can get them lower on the Net Cap for a V6 GC.. The mileage different between the V6 and V8 (4.7) isn't that much and the GC weights a lot, the V6 really suffers... I got my dealer down to to 24K and that with a V8....

HI people!
I'm looking to lease a GC Laredo with the F Pkg or the X Pkg. depending on the price I get, Right now they are offering a $3,000 rebate plus no payments until 07. Does anyone knows if this is true? How much should try to get off MSRP?? and what residual and money factor are ok?
Thanks!

that is the same pkg I was looking for (F) and yes they have a 3K in rebates on the GC, the No payments are for purchases only... If you want a 4x2 w/ 4.7 V w5spd you should be able to get for 24K, that is the price I got mine for.

You're very welcome, Tony. Vehicles' residual values are always based upon a percentage of their full MSRPs, including destination charges. This is because this number is a fixed value that is easy for banks to use as a standard to base their depreciation calculations on.

Hey Tony. The deferred payment program that DaimlerChrysler was running last month was not available on leased vehicles. It was only good on 60 month loans through Chrysler Financial.
