Looking For A Deal by bondguy1

Looking for a 2008 Infinity M35 or M45. Need 15K (maybe 18K/year). Looking to give dealer $1,000 check at start including first month, tax, tag and anything else they want to call it. Looking for the lowest lease price...maybe in low $600's/month. Any help appreciated. I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. I don't mind traveling to get it (Naples, Jacksonville, etc or even in a nearby state).

I don't know the March rates, but make sure you price out an X as well as a rear wheel car. Depending on the money factor and residuals, an X might be cheaper. Also look at a 24 month and 36 month lease....occasionally they are cheaper than a 39 month lease....my 06 M35 is a 2 year lease because it was the cheapest per month of all the leases.

Also, consider the FX. Since there is a major change in 2009, I bet you could "steal" a 2008 on a lease. There are bound to be some hidden rebates and great lease rates to move out the 2008's.

Finally, whatever infiniti you lease, consider giving multiple security deposits to lower the money factor.....

Recently bought an 2008 Infiniti M35x. Porter Infiniti (Newark, DE)
Black/wheat. Tech pkg and Xenon lights. $50000 total MSRP. Here's the deal:
$636/mo.; 39 months; 15k
First month + tags down

Hope this helps! Lovin' the car!

I just started looking so I'm not too sure of the packages available. Is the M35x available with a sport package? And, is the car you got from Porter Infiniti an "Sport" model? Also, does yours have NAV?

Easier for you to just check out the M models at link title
But, in a nutshell, the M35x is the all wheel drive version, not sport.
Tech pkg includes Nav, Ipod hook-up/hard drive/flash drive, hands-free Bluetooth, heated/cooled seats, moonroof, etc.
If you want Auto-Lane Departure Warning and/or Intelligent Cruise Control you'd have to get additional pkgs.
Happy hunting!

Okay. Thanks. I got my answer. The M35X (no Sport Pkg available because 4WD) add a Technology pkg (is it worth it to go to adavanced Tech pkg for better Bose stereo? Without the X, the 2WD Advanced Tech pkg includes the lane departure feature if I read it right. Any thoughts on the advanced tech pkg?

First Month, Bank Fee, Tax (8.625%), Tags, $2100 CCR + Tax.

39 mos./12K per year = $495 per month = $1097.88 behind invoice.

A resounding agreement ... from one who took on a 39 month lease when the 2006 M first hit the showroom with the numbers virtually identical ... and paid $125 more per month. Me stooooooooopid, but it won't happen again! Bart

I replaced an '06 w/o Tech with an '07 w/ Adv Tech. The Bose is "slightly" better with the two surround speakers in the seat, but that is not saying much. Bose is not all it's cracked up to be. That is a matter of opinion though.

Also a matter of opinion re. the Lane Departure and the "radar" controlled cruise. I like both as while on a long road trip I feel they do impart a measure of safety that I did not have without them. I'm not one to fall asleep driving at night, but you never know. The lane departure did warn me I was crossing the center line while fumbling with my phone once so ... most think it an annoyance, but I'm glad I have it. The cruise control will brake the car hard down to 20 mph if someone cuts in front of you. Is it worth the money? Probably not ... ymmv

$4900 down?? On a 24 month lease, that means your payment is over $730 with no money down...and only 12K miles?? Wow. I think you are paying about $130.00/mo. too much...

How will deal on 2008 compare with that on my 2006 M35x? by nrwayne

My current lease is up at the end of April. I have a 2006 M35x with an MSRP of 49,820. My monthly payment, including 6% tax, is $644. That's a 24-month lease with front money of $1200, including first payment. Since I'll have to start negotiations for the 2008 shortly, I'm wondering what the current money rates and residuals are for 24 and 36 month leases. I'd much prefer a 24 since I suspect that the M will probably be due for a major change shortly. Given the model's iffy gas mileage, one would think a six-speed transmission and/or higher final gear will be en route. In any case, I need the numbers before making a new deal.
