Having said that, its lease program is still A LOT better than the absurd one that the dealer quoted you. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 48 month lease of a 2009 G37 Convertible with 15,000 miles per year are .00280 and 44%, respectively. The numbers for a 36 month lease of this car are .00265 and 57%.   My advice is to find a different, more reasonable dealer or to wait until dealers are being a little more reasonable with their demand for this car.   Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum

As a result, its money factors for that term are nearly double its 36 month factors. Replying to: gojayhawks (Jul 17, 2009 6:58 am) Use any lease calculator online (I like the one at leaseguide.com) Plug in the MSRP, use a selling price of invoice, $1000 under invoice if you are a current Infiniti customer, money factor of .00141, residual of 56% and you can calculate your own payment.   It is to your benefit to know how to do this. I wound up doing it this past weekend when I made my deal when asked to sign a lease deal for $520. I knew that was the wrong payment and showed the salesman on his own computer the proper payment of $496 on the lease calculator at leaseguide.com. They "found their error" after some time. Replying to: gojayhawks (Jul 17, 2009 11:11 am) If the residual for 12k is 56% the 10k residual would be 58% (add 2%), the residual for 15k would be 55% (subtract 1%). Everything else in the calculation stays the same.

So my 07 lease is up and I am thinking about buying it out of the lease. This is the run down of my offer in 07...   07 AWD G Sedan... Blue Slate with black interior.... Premium package with Sirus.   24 MONTH LEASE (10,000 MILES) 2700 DUE AT SIGNING (FEES, TAXES AND FIRST MONTH PAYMENT) MSRP -37,465 INVOICE - 34,528 SELLING PRICE - 33,898 NY SALES TAX - 8.375 RESIDUAL - (BOOK) 67% (NET) 68% MONEY FACTOR - .00169 MONTHLY PAYMENT - $450.00   The buy out is around $25,000. I only have 12,000 miles on it and I love this car a lot. I really do not want to lease anymore. I remember the dealer telling me not to buy it out of the lease when I got it because of the deal he gave me. Basically he said they werent making any money unless I bought it out of the lease which he told me not to do...   But if I give it back I have 2 options. 1 get a cheaper car since I want to save money or buy this out of the lease. Basically the buy out is 25000 so lets say i want to save money on my next lease and I get a accord.. The msrp will be around 25000 so i might as well buy my car since it has low mileage and runs great. I know I will be paying $4,000 over the MSRP of my car but its the same if I was to finance a new car for the same price....   Anyway, I just wanted to know what some of you guys thought.
