Sometimes I get the feeling most people don't and ask the same questions over and over...
I'm kind of tired of saying "Negotiate the price of the car, not the payments"...I don't know how you do it Dennis...I can understand Carman, he probably has the his advice in a word doc ready to copy and paste.

"> my way to negotiate is to read these posts, and then basically try to come in close to what appears the best offers. I live in DC where tax, 10 percent, adds a hefty amount on to monthly payment... so, taking that into consideration, I negotiated for a G35X with premium package AND navigation, a 39 month lease at $479.36 (god only knows why that precise!) with nothing down, nothing for doc fees etc... the tax is rolled into the monthly price, so in essence I'm paying $444 or so a month for the base lease price (oh, with 12,000 miles annually).

I figure that's not bad as the last Infiniti I got was 24 months at $455 a month with prem package and navigation and that had 15,000 miles a year (and in that case I did pay about $700 for "doc" fees etc, altho there was no tax as I was registered in NJ). any thots? I haven't signed my new lease yet so if you all tell me I'm way off....

otherwise, I LOVE the car even tho squeezing 2 kids in car seats in the backseat plus a friend is a pain in the neck....

Yup 403.26 including tax.
Just get the car sold to you at invoice, pay your fees and 1st payment upfront (around 1300ish) and thats it. This is for a base model, if you want the the premium package then you're looking at 50 bucks or so more.
Oh did i mention u gotta have very good credit? Not saying u don't, but when it comes to leasing, that's a must.

I posted this over in the prices paid forum, but in case you don't read that forum:

Infiniti has brought back the "conquest cash" and "loyalty cash" rebate programs for June. It is available to anyone that has a current vehicle registration in their name. $350 for IFS lease deals and $1,000 for "retail" deals (3rd party lease, cash, or finance).

So I have been browsing this and a few other forums trying to figure out the numbers game and what a go0d deal is.
I am lo0king and trying to make a deal on a '08 G37 6MT Blue Slate with Premium Package. From what I've seen on this forum, most people are settling on a purchase price either right at or less than $200 above Invoice Price.
The dealership that has the car I want is telling me the minimum offer they would accept is $500 over invoice + tax, title, fees. I am in Lexington, KY and the dealership is in Cincinatti, OH. Should I be able to talk them down more off that price?

I was told by a dealership here that the 6MTs are kinda hard to move since most people want an automatic Infiniti. Is this true? If it is, I should be able to work that leverage in my favor, no?

Thanks in advance.
