Hi clif3. If you were to lease a 2006 Infiniti FX35 2WD through IFS right now for 24 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00116 and 68%, respectively. The numbers for the other terms that you mentioned are as follows: .00154 / 56% for 36 months, .00185 / 55% for 39 months, .00219 / 53% for 42 months, and .00184 / 44% for 48 months.

No problem, scanty. Infiniti is offering very attractive special 12 month leases on the 2006 FX35 AWD and G35 Coupe this month. I believe that the buy rate lease money factor and residual value associated with the FS's 12 month program are .00053 and 81% with 15,000 miles per year.

Hi Deanie. Even if Infiniti does offer dealer cash on the FX35 in the next month or two it probably will not be compatible with special leases through Infiniti Financial Services. Infiniti will probably increase its lease money factor support on the '06 FX at some point, but the fact that vehicles residual values gradually fall as the model year progresses will offset at least some of any potential enhancement.

Hi Lany. A base 2006 Infiniti FX35 AWD has a spread of a little over $3,100 between its full MSRP and dealer invoice prices. You are being given a discount of $2,660 on the model that you are interested in. This looks like a reasonable price to me. You may be able to get additional feedback on this price by visiting the following discussion: "Infiniti FX45 / FX35: Prices Paid & Buying Experience". Using the prices that you mentioned in your post, an MSRP of $40,058 and a selling price of $37,399, and Infiniti Financial Services' base lease program I estimate that this vehicle's 36 month, 12,000 mile per year, zero down, pre-tax monthly payment should be around $490. With this lease, all you would have to pay at lease signing are your vehicle's first month's payment, a $500 security deposit, and IFS' $550 acquisition fee. If you aren't making any sort of cap cost reduction for the lease that you posted info about, the payment is fine. If you are, just make sure that the dealer you are working with is using IFS' buy rate lease money factor of .00141 to calculate your FX's payment.

#215 of 1690 I did it by scanty

Jun 16, 2006 (3:48 pm)

Picked up the '06 FX35 AWD with touring, hands free, mud flaps and cargo mat last week. Diamond Graphite with Willow interior. I love this car! What a joy to drive.

I did a 39/12k lease. With EVERYTHING rolled in the lease (acquisition, license, registration, security deposit waived - my only OTD was my first payment) I'm at $547, including 7.075% tax.

For comparison, the 12 month lease payment was $527. I knew I wouldn't be ready to do this all again in a year, so I took the longer term.

I didn't buy anything in the F&I office, but there was something that sounded interesting. It was a wheel & tire insurance plan. Up front cost of ~$350 will pay for repairs to damaged tires and wheels. I know what it costs to repair or replace a wheel so the cost of the plan seemed pretty reasonable. I keep my insurance deductible at $500, and wouldn't make a claim for something minor like that anyway. Opinions?

Thanks again to the Car_Man for your help.

#217 of 1690 Infiniti FS Current Program Information by tomc1227

Jun 20, 2006 (8:10 pm)

Car_Man: I see information about great programs like the 12 month leases on the FX and G on the forums, but is there anywhere that this information is publicly available? I check ed Edmunds' rebates and incentives page for Infiniti, and it lists no lease deals right now.

What I'm looking for is a place to see what special programs Infiniti FS (and other financing arms) have going on at any given time. Is there somewhere on Edmunds.com or elsewhere I can get this, other than trolling the Townhall leasing forums all the time?

Just picked up a loaded ivory FX-35 - tech, touring, hands-free, dvd, cross bars, splash guards, cargo protector, tow hitch - all in a 12 month lease w/ 15000 mi. Beautiful wheat interior MSRP $48500 - my payments are $538/mo. Special $250 Customer Appreciation rebate lowered the payments to $514! Picked up the car yesterday - I love it!! It's a 12 month test drive - best case I get a brand new one in '07, worst case - I'm only committed for a year.

No money down besides first payment, title, registration, fees, etc. It was a great deal!
