Hi gmsalvation. I guess that you apparently are not GM's salvation if you're buying an Infiniti instead of a Cadillac . The selling price that you were quoted for the FX35 that you are interested in looks very attractive. It is right around dealer invoice, just as you were told. The lease money factor and residual value that you were quoted are right in line with Infiniti Financial Services' base lease program for this model as well. If you like the FX35, I don't see any reason not to go ahead with this deal.

What are the lease numbers for the 2006 FX45. I'm looking at either a 24, 36 or 39 month lease.

#123 of 1701 Thinking of leasing '05 FX35... by ryo998

Jan 29, 2006 (1:56 pm)

Hi,

I am going to be moving from New York to Los Angeles in a week and am interested in leasing a '05 FX35. Specifically, I am looking for a '05 FX35 2WD with touring and technology packages for a 36 or 39 mo. lease. Carsdirect.com quoted the car's MSRP as 42,810 and its lowest price as 37,904. According to cars.com, the dealer's invoice for this car is 39,004.

First of all, is 37,904 a good price? Should I just go through Carsdirect.com to complete the transaction? If you have any experiences with them, please share.

Or do you think I should use this price as a starting point to negotiate with local dealerships?

I know that money factor and residual value also play important role in determining my monthly payment. Are these also negotiable or are they pretty much set in stone? What is a good money factor and residual value that I should be looking for when I talk to the dealers?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Michael

#125 of 1701 marketing support from infiniti by ryo998

Does anyone know if Infiniti still has $1500 marketing support to the dealers for '05 FX35s? It's only supposed to run until 1/31/06.

#126 of 1701 2006 FX35 FX45 Dealer Lease Info by jsteb

Feb 06, 2006 (1:18 pm)

Just got the following numbers in an email from local dealer on lease money factors and residuals:

FX35
24 month = .00297 (68% residual)
*36 month = .00189 (57% residual)

FX45
24 month = .00272 (66% residual)
36 month = .00164 (55% residual)

*The 36 month on the FX35 is quite attractive. This is a special rate which is rare for Infiniti to offer on a newly released vehicle.

Are these figures in line with what you are seeing in the market right now? If not, can you please provide an update on February values. Thanks a million!

#127 of 1701 Infiniti M35x Lease Incentive? by birdbird

I don't see anything listed at edmunds.com for the Infiniti M35x under leasing incentives right now. Yet, you say there is a deal going on now? Can somebody check on this?

#128 of 1701 Discounts off MSRP on 2006 model? by wantanewone

Feb 07, 2006 (5:11 pm)

What is realistic to expect in terms of a discount off MSRP for a 2006 FX35? I've been offered a paltry $500 off, but I know they've got at LEAST a $4100 profit built in to the MSRP, and that's not even counting holdbacks and Mfr. incentives.

The lease rates offered were pretty decent, I think with the following quote:

36 Mo. lease: 59% residual, .001930 money factor

42 Mo. lease: 55% residual, .00200 factor

48 Mo. lease: 50% residual, .00223 factor

All leases require $1000 down payment and include 12,000 miles yr.

How does that sound? What are chances of getting one of these 2006 models for $1000 over invoice in the next couple of months?

Hi jimity. If you were to lease a 2006 Infiniti FX45 through Infiniti Financial Services right now for 24 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00175 and 66%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease should be .00164 and 55%. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease should be .00199 and 54%.
