We are new to the leasing world and were given the following deal yesterday (we have not taken yet); would love your opinion:
2013 Pilot EXL 2WD; running boards added
$3500 tradein
zero down, $430 per month lease for 36 months; .20 cent per mile overage cost
Would love your thoughts, we are in Los Angeles

That seems high. We just leased a 2013 Pilot EX-L 4WD 36 month/12,000 miles a year for $372 a month. No money down.
We traded in our 2011 Santa Fe for above KBB value and put the $600 in equity towards first month's payment and fees.
I would call around to several different dealers. We did, and they all fought to earn our business late last week. Picked up the car on Saturday. Today is the day to make your deal as it is the last day of the month!

I just negotiated lease deal on 2013 Pilot EX AWD.
36 months, 18K miles per year.
$0 down (taxes, fees, first month payment only, total of $1,600)
$372 per month.
I ended up purchasing the vehicle instead. Used TrueCar.com to get low estimate in my region (upstate New York), and asked dealer to match. Which they did. They also agreed to throw in dealer-installed roof rails, towing harness and towing kit (probably $700 of add-ons). Total price (not including tax and fees): $30,500.

OK so is this deal to good to be true or does it seem fair. I was offered a lease deal of 36 months, 12k, 400.00 dollars down on a pilot LX for 298.89 a month tax in. Another dealer I was quoted 349.00 tax in a month no money down for an EX model. Same lease term of 36 months, 12k a year. What is the better deal? Two different dealers. The EX is a little nicer however it seems a bit pricey. Please help?

Hi there. Was wondering if you could tell me where you leased this vehicle and the specs. Would really help the family out if I could get a similar deal. Thanks.

I leased my car through Coral springs Honda. It was 298.89 a month, 400.00 down. It was a base LX model that they had in stock. 36 month lease, 12k a year. The EX model was at Honda of Delray, they were willing to work a better deal, but I am cheap and went with the cheaper model

Hi mjh714. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Pilot Touring 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are .00055 and 51% for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier.
Honda is providing $800 dealer cash on the 2013 Pilot. Make sure to take it into account during your negotiations.

Eisinger Honda in Kalispell, MT. Best car buying experience we ever had, hands down.
