Replying to: medmdmd (Jun 10, 2009 9:22 pm) I believe the sale price is $23,7XX. I already paid the $ 500 deposit yesterday so the delaer could bring the car in for me today. Initially the dealer said I had to take what was in stock. My wife liked silver and the dealer did not have it. Later he called and said he could get a silver. If everythign works out, I will be driving with it today. I also have the purchase agreement from the delaer. Since I am transferring my title, it is a sign and drive thing. Do not have to pay even a penny and the first of 35 payments will be 30 days from today. Will keep you all posted. |

I am ready to lease an Odyssey with RES, 36 mos, 15k miles/year. I've received quotes from various dealers on Long Island, NY. The specifics of this deal are as follows: Sales price (w/ $2,500 incentive) - $29,200 Residual - 46% MF - 6% This seems to be the best I can do and others will not match the deal. I've already leased a new Pilot from this same dealer, there were no gimmicks, bait and switch or other sales tactics. Once in the dealer the transaction took about 25 mins. |

Hi Carman, Is this considered a good lease deal? Honda Odyssey EX-L(no Navi & no DVD) Total drive off is $964 and monthly payment is $456 plus tax at same 36months and 12K/miles per year. Or $1964 drive off and $427 plus tax 36 months and 12k/miles per year. 2009 model and price is $28305.00 MSRP is $33825.00 and invoice is $31005.34 Does this look right? Any way you think I can get the payments closer to $400? Thanks, Maytal

Replying to: maytal (Jun 11, 2009 1:59 pm) My business partner was just offered the EX-L with DVD for 466.00 Plus 6% Fla Tax. I would not do the 1964 down because there is no benefit to you. From what I understand it will be tough to get the car close to 400.00 a month. I will post if I see otherwise. Rob |

Thought I'd share with you: EX-L with DVD 36 month Lease, 12K: $1,000 down, $474/month. Including IL/ chicago high tax. Not sure if this is the best we could have done, but it is alot better than what was offered us a month ago. Old lease was up, so we had to pull the trigger. ETA: I'm trying to recall selling price. $28,400 I think. I can check my notes if anyone wants to know.

I had a lease deal completed yesterday. I started talking with salesman at 2:30pm and picked up the new Odyssey EX at 5pm. That's was a quick deal. Lease details are as following. Model : Odyssey EX Drive-off cost : $1,500 incl. registration, bank fee, first month payment etc Monthly : $383 incl. NJ tax(7%) Miles : 15,000 / year Not the best but I think this is a decent deal for 15K/year and within 2 hr period.

Replying to: Car_man (Jun 10, 2009 2:06 am) If I am looking at a 2009 Touring no pax with a selling price of $34,000 in NYC, what should the payment be for 36 months 12,000 mile and 0 down , bank fee rolled inot payments ? Also, are you able to calculate how much the payment would be if I were to roll sales tax (8.375%) into the payments as well ?
