The primary reason you don't want to put much money down on a lease is simple. If you have an accident that totals the car in the first week of the lease, ALL your down payment money is gone. Gap insurance only covers the difference. That's why i said that $500 should be the MAX you ever put down. If you have time, check out some of the posts in this thread. It covers many of the lease tips/tricks i know of:

As far as your other question, I don't know if Honda would refund any unused mileage (doubtful, though). Did you ask your dealer?
Enjoy your new car!

Looking for the mf and residual on a lease for 2012 exl with nav. Dealer has quoted me at 379 as final offer with no money out of pocket and I don't feel this is as low as they can go. Any immediate help is appreciated.

Kind of high. For that kind of money you should be able to get Acura TSX-tech. I would shoot for $340-350 for EXL with Navi. Anyway, Honda charges a lot for their Navi system, at least $50-60 per month.
I would get an SE model for low $200s and buy good navi for $200 and install a rer view camera for another $200. The engine in EX models ia slightly better but in a real life commuting the difference is hardly notisable.

It is not $105 per month total. It requires $2012 down payment and does not include dealer and other fees. The real price will be probably around $200 per month. Still a very good price.
