Using a local advertised lease deal mentioned a few posts up (voss honda),
$304 per month;
doc fees in GA are completely negotiable so that is additional;
license/registration not included in my estimate
details: 266 + 18 (extra miles) + 20 (7% tax)

Thanks for the info.
Please clarify. The Voss ad for the V6 EXL coupe (most similar) is $306 plus doc fees (est $350 or $10/month), plus tax ($22/month) or $338/month. The extra miles are 3000/year at 15 cent/mile which is $37/ month. So total is $375 per month.
Where am I going wrong?

Just realized my oversight.
50 miles ($600/year)

The standard cost for extra mileage was 15 cents a mile. I negotiated 25K mileage from 12K. 15 cents X 13,000 miles = $1950. Not a bad deal, IMO.
I'd rather work that into the up front costs, then pay it on the back end if I went over my 12k or even 15K mileage.
Curious... If you're under the contracted mileage at the end of the lease, does Honda compensate you for the unused mileage?
The NJ fees probably were inflated, but if they tell me I can't negotiate them, that can I do? Plus I negotiated the hell out of the rest of the deal. At least I think did. But i'm a novice, so it's possible it's not as good as I think it is.

The primary reason you don't want to put much money down on a lease is simple. If you have an accident that totals the car in the first week of the lease, ALL your down payment money is gone. Gap insurance only covers the difference. That's why i said that $500 should be the MAX you ever put down. If you have time, check out some of the posts in this thread. It covers many of the lease tips/tricks i know of:
As far as your other question, I don't know if Honda would refund any unused mileage (doubtful, though). Did you ask your dealer?
Enjoy your new car!

Looking for the mf and residual on a lease for 2012 exl with nav. Dealer has quoted me at 379 as final offer with no money out of pocket and I don't feel this is as low as they can go. Any immediate help is appreciated.

Is the $379 for the 4cyl or V6?
