When leasing can I use my business credit instead of my personal credit?

Hi cgonzalez1. I suspect that you would be able to lease a vehicle through your business, but you need to check with the F&I people at the dealership that you plan on getting your Pacifica from to find out Chrysler Financial's exact policy on this matter.

Buy Out by wesley1der

My lease will be up in about 3 months. The buy out is about 3 thousand more than what the 04s are selling for on the used car lots. It's leased thru Chrysler. Anyone know if Chrysler deals on the buyouts & if so how would you contact?

Hi wesley1der. While there is no guarantee that the bank that you are leasing your Pacifica will negotiate its lease-end purchase price, more often than not they won't, you don't have anything to lose by trying to get them to. Place a call directly to Chrysler Financial a month or two before the scheduled end of your lease and ask if they would be willing to work with you on your vehicle's purchase price. If your initial contact there is not willing to do anything for you you may get better results by working your way up the ladder to a manager. During your negotiations, make sure to give them the impression that you are right at your mileage limit. If you are way under your vehicle is more desirable for them to take back and if you are over they may want you excess mileage penalty. Again there is no guarantee that Chrysler Financial will lower your vehicle's purchase price, but its worth a shot.

Hi Andy. You never mentioned how long you want to lease this vehicle for or how many miles per year you need to be able to drive it. For now, I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. If you were to lease a base 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Touring AWD through Chrysler Financial right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00054 and 45%, respectively. If you decide to upgrade to the '06 Pacifica Touring AWD with Quick Order Pkg 26U (this has a lot of upgraded and additional options) the numbers for an otherwise identical lease would change to .00093 and 45%. When negotiating your lease on this vehicle, remember that Chrysler Financial is providing $3,000 lease cash and $1,000 bonus cash ($4,000 total) on it this month. This money will help you to negotiate an attractive capitalized cost.

Good or Bad Deal by freedomrings

I am new to leasing. (WOW, alot to learn) I am looking at a Chrysler Pacifica Touring, MSRP Apx 29,000. I was told that If I can get a EC number, I will get the $3,000.00 off. THe Basic current deal: $2,220.00 down plus tax, title transfer, payments would be 235.00 a month for 27 months at 15,000.00. This sounds pretty good, but I have no way of knowing. Am I suppossed to negotiate the selling price of the car and then get the payment. This is the basic twist on what is being advertised on TV.
Help and thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Car_Man,
I am looking into leasing a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, Base Model AWD. Can you tell me what residual percentage and lease money factor I can expect for a 36 month lease with 12K miles/ year. Also, can you tell me how to calculate the tax requirement for NY state on this vehicle.

Thank You,
Zep

Hi freedomrings. Did you have a good time watching the Super Bowl last week? I'm sure that it must have been crazy in Detroit . Since you are new to the world of leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles that are available here at Edmunds.com prior to visiting any dealers: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

In answer to your specific question, yes you absolutely should negotiate the selling price of the vehicle that you are interested in before discussing payments with dealers.
