Hi Everyone:

I am new to the whole leasing process and would appreciate a quick how-to on the negotiation and, also, the numbers I should be looking for. I am interested in the 2008 Chrysler 300 Signature Series. (Would like the Navigation System if it doesnt change the price a whole lot). I am looking for a 36 mo lease with 12,000 miles. I see that the MSRP is $32,765.

I, quite honestly, have no idea what a good rate or residual would be for the car or even what the residual really means.

Also, the family discount of 3% off the price is available to me but I am not sure how this all really factors in on a lease.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

(Somewhat urgent as I know that Chrysler is abandoning its internal lease financing at the end of July and I want to be able to secure that rate if its the best available).

Thanks so much.

#232 of 254 CAR MAN- Question on Chrysler 300C lease by texasguy8

Sep 15, 2011 (6:55 am)

Car Man, I am not sure that you are monitoting this message board. I want to lease a Chrysler 300C The MSPR is $45725. The selling price is $36833 + TT. The residual is $18748. The money factor is .001099. Acquisition fee is $795. I am in Texas where I must pay 6 1/4% sales tax up front. The lease quote was $619/Mo, including all taxes, title, acquisition fee and all costs. Only $619 down which is the 1st month's lease. Does this sound like a good deal? Is the residual too low? Thanks.

Car Man or Kyfdx: I am not sure if my last post went through or if you are monitoring this board. I want to lease a 2011 Chrysler 300C. The lease offer is: MSRP $45725 +TTL; negotiated price is $36,833 +TTL; 39 months; 12K/yr; MF .001099; residual $18748; acquisition fee $795; I live in Texas so I have to pay the entire 6/ 1/4% sales tax up front. The offer was $619/mo no money down. This includes all taxes and fees. Does this look like a good offer? Is the residual too low?
Thanks

Dear Car Man-

You know so much about cars! I think thats awesome! Anyhow- I am looking to get either an EL Expedition XLT 2011 due to their deals right now and the fact that I could get one of these cars under the "A" plan (which I am not sure how it works, if you do any advice would be great! Or, I am looking to lease the 2011 Chrysler 300, which it seams only the limited has a lease special? I was wondering if you knew the latest on the money factor and residual value of the 300 and any other info I may need to know before stepping foot into the dealership? Thank you for your time. I live in Virginia if that helps at all by the way..

Every time I have done a lease I always offer $400-$500 over invoice no more than that. If money is being thrown in I take my offer and tell them to subract the money they would receive from my offer so it goes down further. I think you may have some more wiggle room.

I am looking at chrysler 300 too. It seems that they have new deal for October, did you get yours? What was your final deal?

Thanks Timj757. Ally's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2011 Chrysler 300 Limited with 15,000 miles per year in its Mid-Atlantic region are 0.1% and 39%, respectively.

Chrysler does have lease support available on other 300 trim levels if you're interested.

Chrysler is providing a $3,500 cash incentive on leases of this car in your area.

Car Man-
Looking for lease factor and residuals % for 2011 300C AWD, 36 month/12K yr lease.
If there is another combination of months/miles that is the "sweet spot" let me know.
I think there is $2500 rebate on 300C AWD + $1000 conquest through month end?

#239 of 254 Lease Rate/Money Factor by mil6753

Oct 27, 2011 (11:54 am)

I was able to obtain residual % for the 300C AWD - 12mi/year, 36 mos should be, according to what I've read, 45%.

I just need to get money factor converter - 2 different dealers have given me 2.2% and 1.9% APR.

Hi mil6753. According to the latest information that I have seen, Ally's current base lease rate for the 2012 300C AWD is 1.15%.
