Also Car_man are you familiar with GMC's Smart Lease? What can you tell me about it?

Hello jbratx. Right now probably is not the best time to lease a 2007 Escalade. I've heard that GM's redesigned full-size SUVs have been very well received by the public and dealers are getting good grosses on them right now. The problem is that I don't think that the Escalade's prices are going to come down much nor do I think that its lease program will get significantly better in the next couple of months. So if you have an immediate need for a new vehicle, there's probably not much reason to wait a month or two. If you can wait much longer than that, you might get a better deal.

Hey jbratx. I am very familiar with GMAC's SmartLease program. "SmartLease" is basically GM's brand name for its normal lease program. For general information about how lease programs work, check out the following articles: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment. If you have any more specific questions about it, let me know and I'll try to answer them for you.

Man, $66,000 for a vehicle that gets 19 (AT BEST) MPG on the highway? The tires are so big and top heavy looking that I wouldn't want to be caught dead in this vehicle if evasive driving is called for. For if I wasn't dead yet I soon would be.

Hey nycinnc. If you were to lease a 2007 Cadillac Escalade through GMAC right now for 24 months with 15,000 miles per year, its base lease rate and residual value should be 6.95% and 55%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 24 month lease should be 6.95% and 65%.

I'd bee happy to estimate what your lease payment for this truck would be, nycinnc. However in order for me to do so I need you to provide me with some additional information, including the MSRP and selling price of the truck that you want, as well as how long you want to lease it for and how many miles per year you need to be able to drive it.
