Hey vinpro. Ally's current base lease rate and residual value for a 24-month lease of a base 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are 1.0% and 59%, respectively.

The lease rate for an otherwise identical 36 or 39 month lease is 1.05%. The residual values for those terms are 49% and 47%.

General Motors is currently providing a $4,675 cash incentive on 24-month leases of this car through Ally and a $4,955 cash incentive on 36 to 39-month leases of it through Ally.

#741 of 945 CTS - Wagon lease rates & Ally incentives? by corpsvete

Would appreciate the lease rates MF and residual for a 2012 CTS wagon (premium AWD) 12K for 24 months and 36 months .

Also would you be kind enough to explain the Ally lease incentives being discussed. Do they reduce the cap cost, and can they be combined with the $2,000. competitor lease incentive currently in effect?

many thanks.

Carman,

What are the lease rate, residual, and CCR for the CTS base sedan for 24 months and 15k per year?

Thank you

I was curious if anyone could give me some guidance about a CTS awd lease for a 3.0 L base model with an MSRP ~40k.

24 Month/10K Miles Per Year:
$3500 Down + $2000 Credit for your Competitor lease.
Monthly Payment = $286.53
Residual: $22,394

36 Month/10K Miles Per Year:
$3500 Down + $2000 Credit for your competitor lease.
Monthly Payment = $308.85
Residual: $19,995

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It would help to know the cap cost (selling price) of the car, additional dealer fees and if sales tax is included in the payment, as well, if you know, the money factor or interest rate.
Also, you may want to reconsider the 3500 down payment in favor of no money down. Although it will raise your payment, should you exit the lease before maturity, down payments are not recovered.

Thanks Car Man,

I am now also looking at a base 2012 CTS Wagon, too. Do you have the lease rebate, residual, and rate for a 24 month, 15,000 mile lease on the base wagon?

FYI: Here are the numbers on the base coupe that I worked up at dealer today. They still want about $1000 more than I want to pay, but we're close. I think I could have driven it out of there for about $330 with 0 out of pocket without any hard negotiations.

24 month, 15k mile, base coupe
MSRP: $39,590
Lease rebate: $4,675
Lease Conquest cash: $2,000
GM Card earnings:$2,500
Discount: $2,000
Price paid(offer): $28,415

Base payment: $232
Payment and Tax: $247
Payment, Tax, Fees: $305
Zero out of pocket up front

I would love to be able to run the numbers like that on the wagon. Your info made my trip to the dealer so much easier. Thanks again!

Southern California:
Woodland Hills and Casa De Cadillac turned me down, but Penske South Bay and Coast Cadillac Long Beach fought the good battle - here's what I had decided on:

$39,050.00 base
$1,375.00 6 speed auto
$1,150.00 sunroof
$3,145.00 nav
$995.00 white diamond
$875.00 destination
$46,590.00

Best offer I got using an on-line site (CarWoo) for 36 months, 15,000 miles was $35,393 with $1,502.40 out of pocket and payments of $454.84 which INCLUDED tax.

I countered with $34,800 which would have put payments around $430.00

Here's what I wound up with at Penske
$46,590 MSRP ($43,643 invoice)
$43,470 GROSS CAP COST (which included $695.00 Bank Fee)
-$6275.00 US Bank rebate
-$2000.00 dealer rebate
-$1000.00 other lease rebate (I have a Ford lease)
- 11.66 something else i forgot
$34,183.00 ADJUSTED CAP COST

1.9% interest - US BANK
(NOTE: I tried for the 1.05 but the rebates were less, I also had him wipe out the whole thing and start over using ALLY numbers, but the US BANK matched the research I had)

47% residual rate (I argued 49% was the published rate - it was a deal breaker for them as they were losing 2,700 on the car, which is EXACTLY what Woodland Hills and Casa De Cadillac said they would be losing, which is why they turned me down)

$812.58 tax on cap cost reduction
$419.32 1st monthly payment
$378.00 registration fee
$3.94 up front use/sales tax on vehicle
$45.00 document prep fee

BOTTOM LINE:
$358.58 + 33.74 tax = $419.32

I think I did OK - Would love advice for the future if there was anything else I could have done.
