Greetings Car_man.

I'm back again. My lease on my 06 Z4 expires next month. I'm wanting to lease an 09 Z4 but am wondering if I should wait a year before doing so. Do you know the current/if any lease rates on the new Z4. Any advice would be great!!

Greetings Keith. For August BMW unexpectedly enhanced its lease program on the 2009 Z4. Even with this enhancement, the redesigned Z is much, much more expensive then the one that you leased a couple of years ago.

BMW Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Z4 3.0 with 15,000 miles per year are .00125 and 56%, respectively.

You never mentioned what trim level, term, or mileage allowance you are interested in, so I had to make some assumptions. Let me know if you want something different.

shorter term lease? by hky

I am wondering if it is possible to lease a z4 for a shorter term. BMW site term is 30 months. Is it possible to lease it for 24months or 18 months. What should I look out for if there is such a way.

Thanks

My 2007 Z4 M Coupe lease was for 24 months so I know you can do that short.

Need some advice for my daughter who's contemplating buying her leased 2007 Z4 with about 24,000 miles after the Dealer Certifies it as a Certified Pre-Owned. Quoting her residual $34,000, but will sell around $29,000 plus $1300 cost of the Certification.

Hi hky. Technically it is possible to lease a Z4 for less than 30 months, say 24 months. However doing so is not a good idea. BMW is providing the most lease support on 30 month terms. Its buy rate lease money factor for that term is an extremely attractive .00050. If you were to lease an '09 Z4 3.0 for 24 months, its money factor would nearly triple to .00125.

Hi Carman,

Do you have the October lease rate (money factor) for a 30 month lease for a 2009 Z4 (both models).

Thank you,
Bruce

BMW Special Lease Offers by hockeyguru03

When BMW financing provides a lease offer, is it possible to alter that offer slightly? For example, the current leasing offer for the Z4 stipulates a $3000 down payment with approximately $4600 due at lease signing. I would like to put only $2000 for the down payment and I'm wondering if this is possible. I'm aware of the fact that the montly pament will increase (about $30 more a month).

I've heard that some lease deals cannot be altered. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks.

Sure you can... those lease examples are usually structured to make the monthly price seem low...

But, you can structure it any way you want... On my last lease, I only paid 1st payment and registration fees up front.. ($XXX + $114).
