If you get your upfronts down to, say... $4200, then I'd want to roll about $3000 of that into the lease... Sure, it will add $125/mo. to the lease payment... but, I'd rather have the money in my pocket... The total cost is about the same.. regards, kyfdx

I just leased Z4 3.0si Premium pkge, heated seats, auto. Can I just say... LOVE the car. If anyone is considering the car, get it. I cant see a better Car value out there. The SI seems a much better choice given the extra standard equipment and lower money factor. Paying 458/month, 30months, 10k miles - I hope its a good deal:) Paid aquisition, first, security, title/plates,upfront $1818.00 Basically $1200 dealer profit or 800 under invoice. I havent seen enough "deals" posted recently on here so I hope this helps any shoppers. Could have got the car $500 dealer profit because of a competitive situation but didnt want to wait 4 weeks in July to order.

Currently working a lease deal for an on the ground 3.0si for July with known $2000 dealer cash (options not exactly configured as desired).I am aware of the great lease rates/residuals on a 30 month lease. Dealer originally told me could also order for delivery prior to 8/31/06 as lease money factors will be the same and dealer cash would also be available. Now being told that no dealer cash will be available for August delivery. Question: Do you know if indeed BMW announced this early that no dealer cash in August ..or a ploy to have me act on current on the ground Z4. In research appears dealer cash has been increasing and available since April. Is it worth the risk to wait until early August to order once dealer cash is known? Do not want a surprise if order now. Thanks

Hi, I'd appreciate some advice. I just leased a 2006 Z4 and I'm having a problem...when I stop at a red light, after about 7 seconds, the car downshifts, causing an appreciable jolt. Has anyone else experienced this problem? At first the dealership stated that this was NOT normal, then after a "software update" was unsuccessful they stated that this was a feature of the new motor called neutral idle control. Also, Car_Man, or anyone else...did I get a good or bad deal? 36month lease with $4,000 down and $409/mo. The sticker price of the car was $43,120 but we negociated down to $38,800. There was also a $500 refundable security deposit. I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thanks a lot.
