I was told by Moritz BMW in Arlington that "all dealers in Texas mark up the buy rate money factor by at least 1% (.0004)". Sounds like collusion or a lie. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Current BMW lease program by cincyart

Anyone know if the current lease program ( $379 x 24 mo. ) will extend into Feb. 07 ?
Also, is this really any better than what a person with excellent credit could achieve without the program?

Thanks,
Art

Hello Art. BMW extended its January lease program on the 2007 X3 through the end of February. Like most manufacturers' advertised lease payments, I suspect that BMW's advertised lease on the X3 leaves a little meat on the bone so to speak. If you are in an area that has a decent level of competition and you shop around, you should be able to negotiate a lower selling price than the one that BMW's advertised X3 lease is based upon.

Here's the information that you're looking for, yk40. BMW Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 BMW X3 with 15,000 miles per year are .00200 and 65%, respectively.

I have been offered this deal.
2007 X3 3.0si:
Jet Black color
Black Leatherette
Auto Transmission
Heated seats
Heated Steering Wheel
Privacy glass.
10,000/24 months you would be at $411 per month (tax included)
and an out of pocket expense of $3725.19 to start the lease.
They would also be getting me out of my current lease which has 3 payments
of $305.00 left on it, and a 350.00 disposition fee.
Are they just rolling this cost into my out of pocket expenses? it seems to me
i should be paying less out of pocket and getting 12,000 miles a year from what
i have been reading in forums. Please advise.

I think it's better when people post the sales price agreed upon and the MSRP...telling people which options you got is pointless in figuring out if you got a good deal...
