I have been offered a 2008 535i lease that they are quoting a 24 month residual of 73% and a money factor of .023. Does this sound correct.

Replying to: gjonesmi (Apr 25, 2008 3:54 pm) The 24mo/30K residual is 71%.. The dealer can't change these numbers.. they are set by BMWFS regards, kyfdx |

I am being told by a dealer in Atlanta that the April 2008 BMWFS buy rate of 0.0019 can only be obtained by returning BMW customers. Is this true? He's quoting a 0.00285 rate. Thanx Walt

The Atlanta dealer has come down to 0.00225, and claims that I can lock this in for 30 days if I get the BMWFS credit application in before close of business 30 Apr. He also claims that they will not go any lower on the money factor. From reading here, I should be able to get 0.00190 + 0.00015 without a security deposit. He's quoting $720 not including tax on a 36 month, 10K miles lease. MSRP 56670 Cap cost 53500 (no fees included according to him, but I can't find acq fee) 63% residual Money factor 0.00225. Total up front: 1st month payment, doc fee, tax, title, tag = $1365. Claims to know that May residuals and money factors are going up, and is pushing real hard to get an end of month sale. My figures show $713.76 monthly before tax with an acq fee of 625 included in cap cost. What do y'all think? |

Anyone know when BMW is doing a substantial make-over of the 5 series? Anyone seen any images of it?
