Hi Car_Man,
So my dealer is offering me a 328i Sedan as follows:
MSRP: $44,075
Sale (before rebate): $40,770 ($200 over invoice and including destination)
36 months lease
15,000K miles per year
$0 Down
Lease Payments: $545 a month (with CA taxes).
Does it look good?
Also is the 'Destination and Handling' fee different from 'Acquisition' or 'Bank' fee?
Thanks,
Nik

Hi jason- yeah it's in LA (8.25% tax) and I have got it fully loaded (except the sports package). I am in touch with two- New Century and Pacific BMW. I prefer the latter as they are in my area. Both are offering great discounts. For returning lessees, the MF is 0.0009 and they are also giving $1K cashback.
Cheers,
Nik

Hey socalcar1. When I looked into the new program last week I didn't hear anything about conquest cash or enhanced money factors on the 3-Series. BMW is providing conquest cash on the 5- and 6-Series though. Perhaps the dealers freaked out when they saw that the new March program for the 3 is worse than the Feb program was and BMW was forced to enhance its original program. Cutting support in this sort of retail environment is a sure way to guarantee that you have one terrible month. I'll make some calls and see what I am able to find out.

Hi Nik. BMW's originally announced lease program for March for a 36 month lease of a 2009 335i Sedan with 15,000 miles per year were .00200 and 48%, respectively. BMW is providing a .00030 money factor reduction and $1,000 loyalty cash to returning lessees on this car. As I mentioned in my previous post, this lease program is worse than BMW's February program and it would not surprise me if it was forced to enhance it at some point, given the current retail environment.

Hi Nik. Of course, all things being equal I would much rather have a 335i over a 328i. Of course, the 335 is much more expensive than the 328. If I was in the market for a "3" I personally would probably save the money and go with the 328.

Hello lihkin. $200 over dealer invoice before the deduction of any available cash incentives is an excellent price for an '09 3-Series. The destination charge is indeed different from the acquisition fee. All vehicles that are sold in the U.S. have a separate destination fee that is essentially part of their MSRPs and invoice prices. You cannot avoid paying dest.
Just make sure that the dealer is using BMW FS' buy rate lease money factor to calculate your payment and you're in business.

Does BMW offer a lease for more than 15k a year? Does it make sense money wise.
Thanks....Car-man

I have an exisitng lease that is expiring in May and my dealer is telling me that the March 09 BMW FS lease deals can only be locked for 30 days and not for 60 days as they used to be. Anyone else heard of this?
