Hi comohombre. BMW Financial Services' buy rate lease money factor for the 2009 328i was .00150 in February. Unfortunately, it is back up to .00175 in March. BMW will reduce this factor by .00030 for returning lessees.

Hi mpt1. BMW Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 335xi Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00200 and 56%, respectively.

BMW is reducing this money factor by .00030 and providing a $1,000 cash incentive on this car for current lessees.

BMW 328i Coupe by lihkin

Hi Car_man,

I am looking to lease a BMW 328i Coupe for 36 months and 15K miles per year. Could you please let me know the money factor and residual values available currently (for 36 months and 30 months term). My dealer said that the coupe does not have the $1000 cash back to returning lessees. Is that true?

Thanks a ton,

Nik

328i versus 528i by lihkin

Another question Car-man,

How does the 528i drive compared to the 328i? They both have the same engine, but the 528i is bigger. The reason I ask is because the 528i has a sweet deal on it now ($2,500 cash back for returning customers and 0.00145 MF).

Thanks,

Nik

Hey socalcar1. Here's the information that you're looking for. BMW Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 328i Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00175 and 57%, respectively. The residual value for a lease with only 12,000 miles per year is 2% higher.

The only cash incentives that are available on this car right now are for returning customers.

Hi Nik. Here's the info that you're looking for. BMW Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 BMW 328i Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are .00180 and 58%, respectively. The money factor for a 30 month lease is exactly the same, but the residual value is 61%.

What the dealer told you is correct, BMW's current owner loyalty promotion is only available on 3-Series Sedans, not the Coupes.

Hi Nik. I personally prefer the 5-Series to the 3-Series. Of course, the 5 is more expensive.

Car Man:

My local dealer here in Southern CA just emailed me that the rates have gone down - he quoted .00135, and then said something about "conquest" money that's applied to the drive off? Does this mean anything to you? Are these incentives available to everybody or just loyalty customers? Thanks very much.

Hi Car_Man,

Thanks for your previous responses. Could you please also let me have the MF and Residual for the 2009 335i Sedan with 15K miles per year? Is it 0.00145 (for returning customers) with residual of 57%? And is the $1,000 cash back also in place (for returning customers)?

Thanks,

Nik

Hi again Car_Man,

My dealer just called and informed me that the MF on the 328i for returning lessees has dropped to 0.0009- which is crazy. On top of it there is the $1,000 cash back. With this I can't justify getting a 335i which is almost $110 or so extra per month for the same configuration. Apart from the horsepower, do you think there is any other reason not to go for the 328i Sedan?

Thanks,

Nik
