If this is correct, the selling price that you were quoted is around $1,300 over invoice. This isn't terrible, but if you are in an area that has a decent level of competition I personally would not be surprised if you were able to beat it by a couple hundred dollars. Make sure to stop by the following discussion to see how much other community members have paid for similar cars lately: "BMW 3-Series: Prices Paid & Buying Experience".   Assuming that all of the selling prices of the three deals that you mentioned are the same, the number two looks the best to me because it has no capitalized cost reduction. I always advise consumers against making down payments on leased vehicles. Those who make them risk losing part or all of them if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered.   It is difficult to say what BMW's lease program will be like on the 2008 3-Series when it arrives at dealers in the near future, but if I had to make an educated guess I would say that you will probably get a better deal on a leftover '07 model now than you will be able to get on an '08 when it is first available.   Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum

According to the latest information that I have seen, BMW FS' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe (sweet car btw) with 12,000 miles per year are .00200 and 60%, respectively. I am sorry to say that your ability to negotiate a good discount on the 328i Coupe that you are interested in will be seriously hampered if dealers in your area do not have any in inventory. Dealers are usually much more willing to provide good dealer on vehicles that they have on their lots than ones that they have to order. The lack of availability of this car probably speaks to the high demand for it in your area. Hello,   I have been gathering a lot of information from this forum and put together a proposal based on the current .00140 36 mo. MF with security deposit and residual.   First, they say they do not use this factor and it is better for me since I don't have to put a deposit. One dealer quoted .00155 another .00160.   Second, they really didn't work with the Edmunds Invoice. I even took the invoice and added $580 macco plus a few hundred dollars. Still no dice.   My question is, does anybody know a dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area that will work within the MF/Invoice figures we all know a love here at Edmunds? Second, what would be a good lease proposal for this vehicle?   This is the car I was negotiating on today: 12K, 36 mo lease 2007 328i sedan MSRP $39,970 Invoice at Edmunds $36,815, residual $25,181.10 Metallic Sports Leather Auto Power Seats Cold Package   Thanks for the help.

To Canadian posters here:   What's the best that you could do for a lease term on BMW 328i/328xi?   I'm looking for a 328i/328xi for roughly $550 tax in, with $5,000 downpayment or security deposit. I would like this car to include the automatic plus the sunroof. Is this possible? I'm writing here from Toronto.   Bernard
