I always advise consumers against making down payments on leased vehicles. Those who make them risk losing part or all of them if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered. It is difficult to say what BMW's lease program will be like on the 2008 3-Series when it arrives at dealers in the near future, but if I had to make an educated guess I would say that you will probably get a better deal on a leftover '07 model now than you will be able to get on an '08 when it is first available. It's very popular in LA area and here's the best deal I found so far ~ MSRP $40600 Selling price $39600 ( $1000 off MSRP ) 36 months 15K miles $1000 drive off $634 per month ( tax included ) What do U think? Hello, I have been gathering a lot of information from this forum and put together a proposal based on the current .00140 36 mo. MF with security deposit and residual. My question is, does anybody know a dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area that will work within the MF/Invoice figures we all know a love here at Edmunds? Second, what would be a good lease proposal for this vehicle? This is the car I was negotiating on today: 12K, 36 mo lease 2007 328i sedan MSRP $39,970 Invoice at Edmunds $36,815, residual $25,181.10 Metallic Sports Leather Auto Power Seats Cold Package Thanks for the help. |

To Canadian posters here: What's the best that you could do for a lease term on BMW 328i/328xi? I'm looking for a 328i/328xi for roughly $550 tax in, with $5,000 downpayment or security deposit. I would like this car to include the automatic plus the sunroof. Is this possible? I'm writing here from Toronto. Bernard |
