Does the Audi lease incentive ($2,500 cash back to dealer + pay 1st month's payment) also include waiving the $595 acquisition fee?

Security deposit is waived, but the acq fee of $575 is not. However, Audi Financial requires it to be in the cap cost (actually works in the consumer's benefit) rather than due upfront.

Glad to help clh40. The dealer is Rockville Porsche Audi in Rockville, MD. We're not supposed to identify specific salespeople on these bulletin boards, so I'm reluctant to give a name. But he is their Internet sales specialist, so he should be pretty easy to track down.

If that doesn't work, come back and we can figure out a way to do this off line.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out. I'm not far behind you. My lease expires on July 2nd and I've pretty well decided to get another A6.

Thanks, actually we were there this weekend -- did not get into lease details -- but drove A6, A5 -- the A5 is amazing -- makes me seriously consider waiting for the A4 which, as I understand it, will have same interior, engine, etc. options as A5 -- the A5 engine, shifting, general feel was superior to the 08 A6 -- the only problem is trying to figure out how the lease terms on the 09 A4 will compare...certainly they will be less favorable, but by how much...thanks for the info on the dealer, btw, I don't know if we met with the internet sales person, but will try to figure that out & pin down the lease differences, subsidies, etc.

After you have the total cost of the car, how do you use the lease money factor to determine the monthly lease payment?

Hello, growing up, my family has only owned cars and I also have only owned cars up until this point. Right now, I am considering leasing a car and this deal caught my eye:

http://www.dcaudidealers.com/audi/regional_aoa/dc/A6_sse.html

2008 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro
$639* lease per month for 36 months
$0 DUE AT SIGNING
Now through July 2, 2008

Down payment: $0
Refundable security deposit: $0
Acquisition fee: capitalized within lease contract ($575)
First month's payment: $0
Amount due at lease inception: $0

Excludes taxes, title and dealer fees

*36-mo. closed-end lease offered to qualified customers by Audi Financial Services through participating dealers. Must take delivery by 7/2/2008. Rate based on $50,425.00 MSRP of 2008 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro with Premium Package (includes destination charge). Purchase option at lease end for $24,204

I notice people here discussing deals different from this, even in the Washington DC area. Is this deal pretty much a rip-off? Or is it a good one that I should pursue? Also, how hard is it to qualify? I do not have much in the way of income or collateral, but I do have excellent credit (770+).

Just completely new to this whole leasing concept....

Hi. I've been looking to lease the same car. I'm curious how you go them down to $600 per month b/c audiusa.com is offering 639 per month at 10K miles. I need 15K and two dealers in NJ are telling me just to add another $45-50 to the payment so that woudl bring the lease up to $684 per month NOT including tax. They plugged no figures into the computer figuring out residuals or money factors. Also, does the audi lease include maintenance b/c one dealership offered to include maintance. Please advise.
