Thanks luvaudi. That's a valuable perspective. I wonder why my sales guy said otherwise. He must know that I'll be ticked off if the deal he offers me is worse than I could have gotten earlier. Maybe he's just inexperienced.

In any case, we're past May 2nd, so the old deal must have expired. I see a new lease deal on the A6, but it's not quite apples to apples. Does anyone know what the component parts are -- especially MF?

Lease deals have gotten worse. MF stays the same at .00018. However, the resiudal dropped 2pts across the board for A6s (except the S6 which only went down 1%). Incentives now are $2500. (The $1500 expired and has not continued), and Audi is paying the 1st payment.

As predicted, the lease payments are up compared to last month. Still a good lease though.

Congratulations on getting your new A6, mishmash1. Thanks for stopping back and snaring the details of your lease with everyone. Make sure to stop by the Dealer Ratings & Reviews section of Edmunds.com to share your thoughts on your recent dealer experience as well. Enjoy your sweet new ride (I've always liked the A6) .

Does the Audi lease incentive ($2,500 cash back to dealer + pay 1st month's payment) also include waiving the $595 acquisition fee?

Security deposit is waived, but the acq fee of $575 is not. However, Audi Financial requires it to be in the cap cost (actually works in the consumer's benefit) rather than due upfront.

Glad to help clh40. The dealer is Rockville Porsche Audi in Rockville, MD. We're not supposed to identify specific salespeople on these bulletin boards, so I'm reluctant to give a name. But he is their Internet sales specialist, so he should be pretty easy to track down.

If that doesn't work, come back and we can figure out a way to do this off line.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out. I'm not far behind you. My lease expires on July 2nd and I've pretty well decided to get another A6.

Thanks, actually we were there this weekend -- did not get into lease details -- but drove A6, A5 -- the A5 is amazing -- makes me seriously consider waiting for the A4 which, as I understand it, will have same interior, engine, etc. options as A5 -- the A5 engine, shifting, general feel was superior to the 08 A6 -- the only problem is trying to figure out how the lease terms on the 09 A4 will compare...certainly they will be less favorable, but by how much...thanks for the info on the dealer, btw, I don't know if we met with the internet sales person, but will try to figure that out & pin down the lease differences, subsidies, etc.
