I'm in LA area, got my A6, 2008 w/premium package, Nav and iPod connector (MSRP $49,165), a few days ago. $1300 down, $533/mo (including tax), 49% residual, 12K miles/yr, plus includes Audi Scheduled Maintenance. Money factor is crazy low 0.00018. Negotiated price down to approximately $40.6K +650 for scheduled maintenance – for those pricing A6. Note, money factor will expire as of May 2, 2008, if I’m not mistaking, not sure if they will keep it that low or will make it higher after.

I feel I could have done better. There are $3500 in incentives out there. I captured only about $2357 of it. But after going to 5 dealerships I had enough. Thank you all for your help and posts.
A6 3.2 Quattro
36 MO. LEASE, 12K/YR, TAXES IN PAYMENT,
Cap Cost:$51061 +AUDI CARE($650)
Down: $1500 (Audi cash)
1st month ($690)
bank fee ($575)
CONVEYANCE FEE???(added profit I guess) ($239)
Hope this helps some of you get a better deal!

Thanks luvaudi. That's a valuable perspective. I wonder why my sales guy said otherwise. He must know that I'll be ticked off if the deal he offers me is worse than I could have gotten earlier. Maybe he's just inexperienced.
In any case, we're past May 2nd, so the old deal must have expired. I see a new lease deal on the A6, but it's not quite apples to apples. Does anyone know what the component parts are -- especially MF?

Lease deals have gotten worse. MF stays the same at .00018. However, the resiudal dropped 2pts across the board for A6s (except the S6 which only went down 1%). Incentives now are $2500. (The $1500 expired and has not continued), and Audi is paying the 1st payment.
As predicted, the lease payments are up compared to last month. Still a good lease though.

Congratulations on getting your new A6, mishmash1. Thanks for stopping back and snaring the details of your lease with everyone. Make sure to stop by the Dealer Ratings & Reviews section of Edmunds.com to share your thoughts on your recent dealer experience as well. Enjoy your sweet new ride (I've always liked the A6) .

#499 of 1484 Waiver of lease acquisition fee?
May 16, 2008 (9:22 am)
Does the Audi lease incentive ($2,500 cash back to dealer + pay 1st month's payment) also include waiving the $595 acquisition fee?

Security deposit is waived, but the acq fee of $575 is not. However, Audi Financial requires it to be in the cap cost (actually works in the consumer's benefit) rather than due upfront.

Glad to help clh40. The dealer is Rockville Porsche Audi in Rockville, MD. We're not supposed to identify specific salespeople on these bulletin boards, so I'm reluctant to give a name. But he is their Internet sales specialist, so he should be pretty easy to track down.
If that doesn't work, come back and we can figure out a way to do this off line.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out. I'm not far behind you. My lease expires on July 2nd and I've pretty well decided to get another A6.
