Thanks for the input. I went to another dealer to try for a lower price on a Premium Plus, and was able to get a better deal. This deal, which I'm about to sign, is for a $38,950 car (Premium Plus Quattro Tiptronic with metallic paint, wood trim and all-weather floor mats) and includes Audi Care free maintenance. Total out-of-pocket is $2,000 and monthly payment (including tax) will be $485. This is for a 42-month (slightly longer term than before) lease with 12K miles per annum. I also have the benefit of a $750 BMW rebate included in those numbers.
Think this is a pretty good deal, so feel good about it. Am actually getting this car to replace a 2007 BMW 530xi. I haven't loved that car, to be honest, and was hoping to reduce my payments a little. The Audi seems like a great car, as it's more stylish and slightly larger than the 3-series. I have never been a particular fan of the current-generation 3-series and think the 2010/2011 models look a little bit dated. I haven't actually driven one to compare, however, so not sure about the handling/acceleration difference.

Congrats on the deal, I don't think anybody can get a better deal.
Which city the dealer is located in if you don't mind me asking?

Got a meteor gray premium with
- AMI Ipod integration
- exhaust tips
- heated front seats
$430/month with taxes rolled in to monthly payments and
$1400 to drive off.

This sounds similiar to my deal. I pay 419.00 and 2k drive off.
Good luck. You're going to love the car. Although in retrospect I should have given the BMW 335i a look. Twin turbo and 300 hp.

Thanks, we test drove a BMW but Audi is a bit bigger (we need to have a carseat in the back) plus I liked how it handles so we decided to go for it. So far I'm really enjoying the car.

#3371 of 4423 Another A4 P+ (in SF, CA)
Apr 26, 2010 (10:11 pm)
I'm in the same boat as a few of the guys above, first time leaser - and would really appreciate some help checking my numbers...
dealership in Northern CA
Invoice: $36,786 (+$650 acquistion)
A4 quattro with Premium Plus in Blk (how hard is it to get this car in anything but black, silver or white?!)
Lease is 36 months, 10k miles a year
Residual: 51%, Money factor: 0.00026 (although thats assuming my credits as good as I told the dealer it was!)
Initial payment: $1124 (covers 1st month, registration etc')
Lease $511.77 ($560.39 with 9.5% CA tax) I've also rolling my acquisition cost into this lease payment which adds another $18 a month)
From recent posts this feels about right, what do you think? can't help noticing the current Bimmer national lease pricing which looks pretty aggressive, but love the A4. Thanks for the help
