Hi jdeluxe. The money factor that you were quoted is right and you are being given a good selling price on this car. Those are the two main profit centers for dealers on leases. Unfortunately, this is probably the best that you are going to be able to do on this car right now, or very close to it.

I just got two quotes on an A4 at $150-200 over invoice. If you can do your deal close to invoice, with the lease factor and residual % straight off he Audi Finance sheet, then you'll be fine.

You're very welcome, santafe7. I'm glad that I was able to help you out. Audi Financial Services' December buy rate lease money factor for a 36 month lease of a 2009 A4 2.0T Sedan is .00169.

Yes, azuay, Audi is running a Sign & Drive lease promotion on the 2009 A4 right now. This offer waives the first month's payment and security deposit on leases through Audi Financial Services. You can probably roll the acquisition fee and any other taxes or fees into your car's capitalized cost to make this a true $0 due at signing lease if you'd like.

Don't count on being able to just walk away from this car mid-lease though. It is usually fairly expensive to get out of leases well before their scheduled end dates.

Hi canes320. Here's the information that you're looking for. Audi Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of an '09 A4 2.0T Sedan Premium with quattro and 12,000 miles per year are .00169 and 57%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a Premium Plus are .00169 and 55%.

Hi bobrob1. Let me begin by saying that $4,500 is too much money to put down when leasing. I always advise consumers against making large down payments on leases. Those who make them risk losing part or all of them if their vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered. Even though it means that this car's monthly payment will be a little higher, it would be much safer to go with a zero down lease.

The money factor that you were quoted looks about right, it is now .00199 in December, but it is difficult for me to tell if the capitalized cost that you mentioned is a good deal. Is the $43,864 before or after the down payment has been taken into account?

Hi MrShade. The best way to evaluate this deal is to look at this car's selling price in relation to either its MSRP or its dealer invoice price. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. These numbers will show you just how much of a dealer discount you are being given. Let us know what they are and I'm sure that either myself or another knowledgeable community member will tell you what they think.
